I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Sanook Kitchen! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere — cozy, clean, and full of vibrant energy without being overwhelming.
The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the authenticity and care put into each plate. Whether you're trying their signature dishes or something new, the balance of spices and ingredients is spot-on.
What made the experience even more special was the impeccable service, especially from Maevryl. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming — striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. She made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.
Overall, Sanook Kitchen exceeded expectations in every way — great food, a comfortable setting, and top-notch service. A special thanks to Maevryl for making the visit so memorable. Highly...
Read moreWalking around "JB City Square" hungry, I was craving some Thai food. And behold "Sanook Kitchen". Seems pack so I thought to myself "Why the hell not"
So entering I was greeted by the whole staff saying "Welcome to Sanook Kitchen". Then being seated down I was handed a menu and a mini clipboard as I was supposed to write the code down myself. After ordering, not going to lie the atmosphere was quite lacking compared to the other places I have been to, with music being the saving grace. And not long after placing my order my food arrived, and let's just say the presentation looks adorable, had to take a picture before eating. And the taste was quite good, was sour from the fresh cut lime given to me along with the savoury seasoning.
I was in a rush so I didnt got a chance to survey more, but anyhow the staff was kind, the food was alright. It was just the atmosphere that needs a little change besides that everything was alright.
If u are in need and crave some Thai food, I think this place should check most...
Read moreI went here with high expectations. Sadly my experience was not very good. My opinions: Highly overrated. Ambience-none. Expect hawker style level noise Service- Poor. Very short staffed. The poor waitress was stretched to the limit. Food- I judge a restaurant by the cuisine's signature dishes. So ordered a sticky rice with mango. I was given sour mango with squishy soggy sticky rice and readymade coconut cream! If one cannot check the quality of the mango before serving it, then it shows their commitment to quality. You can get better versions in hawker stalls for a lesser price. I also ordered the mixed sea food with thai basil. Small serving. With 2 prawns and few squids... all of the squids' heads. Not very appetizing ya. Was planning to try a few more dishes, but the food and the long waiting time put me off. Hope the management hires more staff and take more interest in serving up authentic...
