We were visiting from out of town and drove to this Grand Harbour Restaurant. As there were no available parking spaces in front of the establishment, we parked in building’s parking facility. However, we did not see any clear signage or payment machines for the parking fee, so we proceeded directly to the restaurant via the elevator.
After placing our order, we casually inquired with a server about how to handle the parking payment, as we were unsure of the process. A women who identified hiself as a manager (possibly named Xxongyee) came over to respond. Unfortunately, she tone and attitude were noticeably unwelcoming. She simply stated that the restaurant was not responsible for parking and told us to go outside and find out ourselves, offering no assistance or guidance. As visitors unfamiliar with the area, we found his response dismissive and unhelpful.
Later during the meal, a dish we did not order was brought to our table, and coincidentally, it was the same manager who came to address the issue. When we explained that the dish had not been ordered, she insisted that it was due to us failing to confirm the order properly. She showed no intention of resolving the matter and appeared more focused on deflecting responsibility. Although we agreed to pay for the mistaken dish, we did not consume it, and the interaction left us with a very poor impression.
After the meal, we shared our experience with the restaurant's supervisor. He was extremely courteous and professional, and even offered to refund the item, which we declined. Our intention was not to be compensated, but to bring attention to the manner in which the situation was handled. It is unfortunate that one employee’s poor attitude can negatively affect the image of the entire establishment.
The food itself was quite good, but we sincerely hope the restaurant will take service training more seriously—especially for those in managerial roles. One person's behavior should not diminish the overall quality of the dining experience. We hope future guests are treated with the level of respect and professionalism that this restaurant has the...
Read moreOne of the worst places I've had in Klang Valley for full fledged Chinese meal. we held a full course dinner with few tables and it was certainly no match compared to Oriental Group's restaurants. Will head back to Noble House anytime.
Food: Yee Sang: Pathetic portion for 5 pax when each table has 10. Soup: Made out of chicken stock broth. Not fresh at all! Thickened using corn flour, which is not real soup made from scratch. Suckling pig was horrendously oily and tiny. It was not skinned properly so there is a huge layer of fat + meat beneath. Do they even know how to prepare in the first place? And it was so small each of us got one piece and that was about it! Abalone: The worst abalone I had in my life. It was so soft that it's effortless to cut. Your fork goes through it so easily just like poking a steamed fish. So very badly done: what a waste of that abalone! Wa Wa vegetable: Overrcooked so the veggie broke apart the moment you scoop it. Broth is made with the same chicken stock from the earlier soup! Prawn Noodle: Same chicken stock too. The broth isn't even fantastic...
This is a MSG meal + pressure cooker + chicken stock. And for they price they charge? It's pretty much equivalent to Noble House.
NEVER EVER hold your CNY dinner here no matter what. It's a waste of your money giving them the opportunity to destroy expensive food.
No more next time. We will stick to Oriental Group for proper...
Read moreDecent dim sum restaurant at a affordable prices. Many reputable restaurants opened from 1130am onwards and do split shift. So it was lovely, that they open at 9am during the weekends and 10am during weekdays.
Location nearby all major hotels, service apartments. Walkable
Service we arrived at 9am and was told they only able to serve baked stuff as their gas cylinder is empty and waiting for refill. Malaysia boleh 😁 but the lady was nice to inform us so that we don't sit down and got a shock so this is good. we came back around 1130am and it was jam packed. The queue system was horrible but glad they do have some seats in Aircon. we managed to be seated around 1230hrs. Egg tarts sold out liao. 😔 we were lucky to be seated at a corner with 1 designated stuff so ordering, clearing and changing of plates was prompt.
Food similar to local dimsum flavours skip the cheong fun if you expecting it to be thin and soft. Their Cheong fun is much thicker and chewy. steam foods all are good fried stuff was not oily and smelly (sometime they over fried or refried) baked stuff was superb, soft and moist. The char siew siow is the best.
Atmosphere typical HK dim sum area aka market...
