Located near the heart of Bukit Bintang. Quite an old hotel but it's still keeping up. Lift is quite small, but it works. No stairs though, so you have to wait. A deposit of RM50 is required, as well as RM10 Tourism Tax for each night.
Stayed at room 615, Double Deluxe Room without view. Unfortunate, but it was the last one at the time of booking. Since there's no window, it can be quite dark and cold. And the lightning's not bright enough in certain spots. Wi-fi is not bad, even though they still use vouchers. One voucher is valid for 24 hours, and they only give 2 for each night.
Room is spacious. Like, really, it's enough to even add one extra bed (well, mattress), and still enough space for 4 luggage. One double bed and one twin bed. Beds are a bit rickety. But it's comfy and clean, that's all that matters. Bathroom is also quite big and modern. The toilet seat is still good. There's overhead shower and normal one. Too bad the water pressure is not strong enough, but it works. 2-in-1 soap bottles are provided. Just enough for 2 showers. Towels are also provided. Hair dryer is provided. TV only has 8 channels and they repeat the same programs all day long. A kettle, cups and spoons are also available. No coffee or tea, so you have to buy them yourself. Mini fridge is cold enough to cool your stuff. Hangers are also available though they are not enough for 3 people.
Since the room doesn't have window, and they use central air conditioner, it can get very cold at any time of the day even with the lowest setting. Be sure to bundle up!
Housekeeping is done if you ask for it. And they give you new towels and bottles as well. No water dispenser, so you have to boil it yourself or just buy one. There're convenience stores nearby and one of them sell 4L water for about RM3. Cleaning service is not provided, but the staff will happily point you to a 3 minutes walk from the hotel. There's also a taxi service that can take you to the airport for a fixed price. As well as other places. Alor Street is located just in front of the hotel. What better place to be. 1 minute walk to the MRT.
Undoubtedly the best hotel to stay in Bukit Bintang. Close to many places which makes it very strategic. This will be my default choice whenever I come here...
Read moreThe best hotel ever! I got the best room and its price is quite decent.. Given that the location is quite strategic, near to the exit of MRT, Family Mart 24 Hours is just beside the hotel, there is a stretch of food stalls in front of hotel, McD, KFC and Starbucks is just around the corner after the Family Mart. I booked a windowless room but, it still has the window 😉 but not the big window as the room with window.. It is quite convenient since my room wasnt facing the noisy area. The busking still can be heard from the room but it's not that noisy, still can sleep well.. The bathroom is quite nice, AC is working properly, the security is very good and they take care of their customers' privacy (top notch!)The bed is cozy, they provide basic amenities (soaps, drinking water bottles, towels, and shampoo), the room has a mini fridge and a flat screen TV..In addition, their receptionists are very professional, & attentive to their own customers' needs. I called the hotel few days before the check-in to ask several questions to clear my doubts and the one who was in charge - very polite, gave fast response and patient 😊 not to forget about their housekeepers - very polite, attentive and didnt bother to disturb customers' privacy 👍 I have my best time ever in Bukit Bintang, thanks to this hotel 😊 My tips is, book a windowless room if want to avoid excessive noise...
Read more⭐ We loved everything about this hotel during our stay! Affordable! Located right in front of Jalan Alor (famous food street) Walking distance to shopping areas like Lot 10, Pavilion, and Fahrenheit Plenty of tourist gift shops right below and along the street 😊
As for the room: We booked a deluxe room with one queen bed and two single beds. What surprised us the most was how SPACIOUS it was! You could lay out all your large luggage on the floor and still have plenty of space to walk around. The bathroom was also clean, modern, and well-maintained.
The building may look a bit rundown from the outside, but it’s newly renovated inside. Housekeeping was excellent—our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bottled water provided consistently.
Only a few minor downsides: No in-house restaurant (not a problem for us, but might be for some) It can be noisy at night due to street performers on Jalan Alor (again, not a big deal—we were so tired from tours, we slept soundly anyway 😄) A bit far from KLCC; you’ll need to take a cab (was fine for us, but others might prefer walking distance) No airport transfer service
⭐ Highly recommend this hotel, especially for budget-conscious...
