I didn’t stay at this hotel but still had a bad experience with them, which they actually could have been a good opportunity for me to give them a good recommendation for helping us, but it went sour. A couple of weeks back, a colleague of mine from Indonesia who was not a hotel guest but was in the lobby accidentally left his laptop charger at the hotel lobby and left back to his country on the same day. He contacted the hotel people and asked them to keep the charger and requested me to collect it. Since the hotel is quite far from my location, I asked if they could arrange to courier it to us and my office would pay, but they refused. Then I tried to arrange a courier boy to pick it up from them, but then the guy running the day shift named Adam said we can ONLY collect it at night coz’ it’s being kept by the guy running the night shift, so we couldn’t get it collected by courier. In the end, I went personally at night to collect it, to find that the guy running the night shift had NO IDEA about the charger and had to call Adam. Over the phone, he was mad for calling him about the charger several times and wanted to charge me RM25 just to pick up the charger! Of course, I was mad as Adam insisted to come to pick up personally at night, told me to talk to the night shift guy who turns out had no clue about the charger and had to audacity to not only get mad, but wanting to charge me money. After I started complaining in return, the night shift guy found the charger in a drawer at the FRONT DESK. If it was there the entire time, I see no reason why the day shift guy couldn’t have allowed us to arrange for pick up by courier during the day. Seems like he just wanted to make my life difficult as he kept pointing out that it was the fault of my colleague who was not even a guest. It’s sad that just because my colleague and I were not paying customers, that the hotel staff felt justified to react like this. Management should take note that treating people well goes a long way into helping your business especially when people can easily give reviews online! I give 2 stars only because they helped keep the charger in the...
Read morei arrived at the hotel after a log day of travelling, tired and weary looking forward to a hot shower and a bed. The hotel was very easy to find, its location being excellent for anyone getting off the airport express.||||On arrival I showed my booking receipt and the receptionist immediatly said that they were full and had no room for me. I was shocked, in my had I was holding a conformed reservation. The receptionist suggested I find another hotel!||||I explained that I simply did not believe that there was no booking for me, the reservation letter said it was confirmed and I had pre-paid.||||After an argument I looked down at the rooms list on the desk and there was my name, I pointed to it and said "look, that's my name"... the receptionist got really angry and just handed me the key and turned away from me.||||It's so rare that i leave a negative review for any hotel, I know that it can be easy to make a mistake with a booking but this guy was just arrogant and rude from the moment I walked in.||||I would rather sleep on the street than ever book this...
Read moreThis hotel is located in a very strategic area directly next to the sentral sky train station. It is close to 7 eleven, starbucks and just a short electric stair ride up to the sky train. The staff are incredibly hospitable. Our key for the suitcase had been lost and the manager was more than happy to get the saw blade and cut the lock off for us. He had done this "many times" and was a professional at breaking into luggage. This hotel costs 110rm for a night and the staff are extremelyhelpful and honest. Good nights sleep and just a short stroll in the morning to the...
