Stayed here for 2 nights. Would never choose this hotel again unless all the hotels around KL is fully booked or closed down. Poor maintenance of the hotel, saw 3 cockroaches during my stay, towel with large hole in it. This hotel has its own definite morning call around 6am, do not stay here if you are not an early bird. Having that said, it is very near to Masjid Jamek Station & bathroom has high water pressure, which was good. Pros - Very near Masjid Jamek Station (3 minutes walk away) - High water pressure - Water dispenser provided Cons - Poor maintenance - Infested with cockroaches (Not sure about other rooms) - Poor soundproofing (Could hear next door chatting) - Towels with hole in them (Shown in the photo) - Surrounding area could get very quiet and dangerous after 10pm In conclusion, you can stay here if you have something to do in the vicinity or you like a 6am morning call everytime.

Citin hotel Masjid Jemek is a good, clean, hotel for those who are looking for a low cost, budget place to spend in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. You will get all what you want for a reasonable price. I was at the 8th floor with a window. Manager is very friendly and all the staff there are nice and helpful specially housekeeping lads are nice and cheerful. I would recommend Citin hotel Masjid Jenek as it is convenient for travelers, MRT train station in just walking distance, food stalls, money exchangers, grocery/ shopping malls (Lulu) in 10-15 minutes walking distance. There is a mosque next to the hotel and you can hear prayers on the loudspeakers but it is not a dealbreaker, and we were totally fine with it. Ps. Manager allowed us to keep our food in the hotel freezer.

The floors were sticky, the walls paper thin, the sheets stained, and the walls paper thin. I could hear EVERYTHING ! The TV didn’t work. We then got to our hotel which was booked as a superior queen room, getting into the room it had no windows and this was not disclosed on the booking, the floor of the bathroom was sticky and there was something orange stained all over the bathroom. On the other hand, the location of the hotel is very convenient as there are various food shops and places to shop around. We stayed over on Saturday so there were night markets right in front of the hotel so we enjoyed all the street food and shopping. I know that this is a budget hotel but if the rooms and bathrooms are cleaned properly it would be better.

It was a very bad experience and wish I could give even 0 star to this hotel.

  1. Hotel location: they have put very deceiving information about their hotel location that it is located only around 2 Kms from Petronas Twin towers which is not true!
  2. There's was some construction work going and because of that you'd have to go further down to even find a cab/taxi service. Esp if your a new in the city as tourist then more hassles cause you'll not be aware of the routes.
  3. Right adjacent to a mosque where you can hear all the prayers in your room even with your door and windows closed!!
  4. Deceiving of room: I booked a superior. Now, I didn't even have had an idea that superior room would be lacking the basic services in a room i.e. no mats in the toilet, no toothbrush-paste, no safety locker in the room (esp when they taking sign on a paper that they'll not be liable for any losses in the room for our belongings) So as per them keep your belongings in the room at your own risk or carry along all the luggage wherever you'll be going to visit in the city...then what's the purpose of even getting a hotel...you stupid staff!!
  5. Now another thing was about the free breakfast: Putting all the pictures and deceiving that you'll provide all different food but reality was totally different. Ok if you putting a breakfast like tea coffee etc then at least keep the water hot to mix the creamer and mix the milk powder in it. It was literally that cold that made the clumps of milk powder creamer and left tea after few sips!
  6. they'll charge you for any additional towel, toiletries and etc. In a nutshell: my advice is spend few extra dollars or ringits for some decent room at some other place and you'll be...

Hotel is good as the location is in the middle of the city where the best famous spot for tourist hunting for cheap and great bargaining items like Petaling Street,Lorong Datuk Tengku Abdul Rahman etc.... but unfortunately kitchen is not working due to renovation As what we have been told by the reception staff!(Least we should have been inform bout this earlier while making the reservation through any apps!)yet there's not many food stall nearby. As a tourist which not familiar with the place of cause it's difficult and frustrating for us.Unfortunately there's no fridge only kettle, but to my surprise I am really shocked to found out that the kettle is very dirty with mould.Housekeeping is very bad...toilet especially.Everything must be told and asked .Like toilet paper, towel and of the cause room cleaning.Same goes for the transportation cos since the hotel entrance lobby has been blocked by the barricade so no vehicle are allowed to pass the driveway.Always a problem when we tried to booked a grab or a cab cause we dnt know where is the right pick up point or location.Because of the pick up location we have to wait long time to get a grab car or taxi because as we know both taxi or grab car can't wait and as what the driver told us that they can't piçk us at the hotel entrance lobby as no vehicle is allowed to pass the driveway. I am very disappointed with the hotel management.Hope in future the management should strictly take note and take the actions seriously for the sake of...

I stayed for five night in this place and had a good experience overall. The rooms are small but clean and everyday Housekeeping guys were doing a fantastic job to keep our rooms plesentable. Bathroom is well cleaned and water pressure is so good and also it has hot water all the time.||This hotel is located in the middle of a bazaar sorting area and if you are a shopping person you can easily walk to the supermarkets and supermarkets such as Mydin, Hanieefa and Lulu. Also its 2 min walking distance to Masjid India metro station and from their it won't take more than 10 min to reach KLCC, Aquaria KLCC and other places. ||Tip - ||There is no any nice window view but you can observe the market area in front and I enjoyed it. ||Breakfast is not so good, the layout is ok.. but all the foods are two oily and they serve pre fried egg in buffet and it become all harden of you come late for the breakfast. And there is no much difference in all five days. We took breakfast outside for two days cuz of that.||There are plenty of restaurants around where you can have your breakfast. So you better book without breakfast.||When you book a grab make sure you change your location to the nearest road as there is no direct access to the hotel by a vehicle. ||The cafe is close early (around 5 p.m) but don't worry it's always better to try plenty of restaurants outside. ||Overall it's a nice place to stay. Hats off to...
