Spicy Karaikudi style dishes. Super spicy gravy. I personally love their Banana Leaf set. Most of the Banana Leaf shops serve cheap vegetables like bean sprouts, cabbages and etc. Here they served beetroot, brinjal and bottle gourd. With parboiled rice option. Mutton Briyani was vibrant in colour and fragrant, but taste normal. Meat was tender and half juicy. Prawns thokku was so good but portion too small for the price. Chicken 65 and Mango Lassi are a must try. Price wise wouldn't say reasonable but affordable. Seating abit cramped. Air conditioning seat doesn't suit for this kind of meals. Food gets cold by the time you start eating them. That chillness is uncomfortable otherwise food would have taste better with its prolonged warmness. Check out @suriyapriya.food.diary on Instagram for more food updates.

This is an amazing South Indian restaurant. Their banana leaf meal is awesome with option to choose parboiled rice, ponni rice or white rice. Dishes are interesting to try, you can choose from the tray that they bring to your table. You can even ask them to redo the dishes, they will roast it for you (with onion) which makes it more interesting. Staffs are very prompt. Some to try - Banana leaf meal, Nattu Kozhi Masala (Country Chicken), Mutton Chukka, Kadai Pepper Roast (Quail), Mutton Retha Poriyal (Mutton Blood dish), Prawn Masala, Chicken Briyani ....Moru (Butter milk) is a must try...At times it becomes crowded, but you can find seats always.

Ordered dinner yesterday chicken biryani and chciken 65, food got delivered at 9pm and when we sat down to eat at around 11:30pm the food was all smelling and spoilt, tasted bad too. How can i freshly made and served and packed food gets spoilt in two hours post delivery , very disappointing and even the taste didnt match anything close to chettinad cuisine, biryani was bad and 65 seemed like its just been fried in oil and looked blacked tasted hard and horrible, very very bad service and food , had to throw away the entire food. Didnt expect this from you guys NEVER ORDER FROM HERE

The food was good but can definitely be improved and the overall service was good (staff were very helpful and friendly). The Prawn 65 Briyani was recommended by 1 of the staff members working there and at first we were excited to definitely try the food, however, the prawns were SEVERELY OVERCOOKED (ROCK HARD) and the taste was bland (nothing to rave about). My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Varuval Briyani and it was good. The other dishes we ordered were the Gobi Manchurian, Mutton Chukka and Nattakozhi curry. The Gobi Manchurian was delicious and fresh but a tad bit too spicy. The Mutton Chukka was nice but could have used a bit more salt. The Nattakozhi curry (kampung chicken curry) was great. Well spiced, great flavour and the chicken was cooked well. The Mango Lassi's were incredibly tasty as well. For the amount of food and drinks ordered, the price came up to around RM 86 which was fair. Overall the food, service and food prices are good at this establishment. A few issues to note, the overall hygiene/cleanliness is a bit worrying (alot of flies and the tables were not really cleaned properly) however those issues can be easily rectified AND it is not easy to come here so make sure to google maps to a parking area/mall and walk to the restaurant or just take a grab to...

Im a regular customer here, at least 2-3 time per week. And my meals will typically cost me about rm60-70++ every single meal. Il start with wht i like about the restaurant, the food tastes good, its flavour is definitely spicy and flavourful. The service is top notch, the guys working there are very friendly. However, lately ive not been going there as often because well

  1. the quantity does not match the price they are charging, i love mutton, and i wish they would increase the portion a little bit more to match the price.
  2. a lot of the times, the prawn and sotong feels rubbery and not fresh. I don't know if its because i go there at around 8pm, but I seriously doubt thts the reason
  3. the mutton dish tht i order, varuval or paratal, often time, the quantity is so little and whts worse is, a lot of unwanted parts was thrown in as well, like bony and veiny. You have to out into consideration wht parts u want to serve Ur customer. If u want to charge a premium, then make sure ur dish reflects ur premium price.

I dont mind paying rm70++ every meal, but i hope they increase the quality to reflect the price...

Came to have banana leaf set rice, however we actually asked the worker if add on items for vegetarian is available, he said it is available, but we waited for some time, we haven't get to choose any add on items, so we asked again, and then only they said they are cooking and will take alot of time, only non veg items are available now,the time was around 12.30pm,I think that no matter veg or non veg, the foods should be prepared earlier. Also, we were never get to order any drinks at all, all the workers was only walking around here and there, nobody came to take order for drinks. We ended up not ordering any drinks. The non veg briyani tasted good, but still very disappointed with the service and vegetarian food's taste as well, there were only sambar and 3 types of veggies which I have no idea what it tasted like. Most disappointing part is the price was too expensive for the items served. Definitely not coming back here or recommending to anyone. Also the halwa was hard. One star for...
