I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant in Malaysia, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The breakfast spread was nothing short of amazing, offering a rich tapestry of flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The diverse selection of dishes showcased the authentic essence of Indian cuisine, with each bite telling a story of traditional recipes and culinary expertise. From fluffy, perfectly cooked dosas to fragrant biryanis, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The chefs clearly demonstrated their skill in balancing spices, creating a symphony of taste that left a lasting impression. One highlight was the impeccable tea and coffee service. The aromatic brews were a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. Whether it was a robust cup of masala chai or a smooth South Indian filter coffee, each sip was a journey through the rich heritage of Indian beverages. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. Warm hues and tasteful decor created an inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The attentive and friendly staff further enhanced the dining experience, providing excellent service without being intrusive. What truly set this restaurant apart was the attention to detail in every aspect. From the presentation of dishes to the thoughtful pairing of flavors, it was evident that the culinary team took pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to this Indian restaurant in Malaysia was a culinary adventure that exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was a feast for the senses, and the tea and coffee were a delightful accompaniment. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Indian dining experience in the heart of Malaysia.

If you're looking for an authentic Indian food, then I would highly suggest this restaurant. However, you should be aware that it's a fully vegetarian restaurant so if you're not interested in vegetarian food then probably this restaurant isn't for you. We ordered vadai and a mini tiffin set for breakfast. I actually thought since it's a mini tiffin set, it wouldn't be filling but to my surprise I was pretty much feeling full after finishing my meal. It consisted of mini idly, vadai, masala dhosa, kichidi and kesari. Was really good. I'm not a fan of chutneys but the tomato chutney was my favourite and the mint one was my husband's favourite. They also had variety of sweets to choose from. So that's the good stuff. The con would be, there's no sign for washroom or the hand wash area. It is a small space but it was rather tricky to find the handwash area. I even saw a few customers wiping their hands with tissues thinking there's no handwash area available. But overall I would give it a 8/10.

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious! I loved every bite and we visited this place 4 times during our stay. I could also see a lot of tourists and local Tamil folks coming in from afar. I can understand why. Food is great and delicious. Prices are reasonable & mostly comparable to what I'd pay back home in Delhi. We ordered two dosai and a dahipuri chaat. The dosai were perfectly crispy, with the masala aloo spiced just right. The chutneys & sambaar were the real highlight—they were so good that I didn’t leave a single drop behind. The dahipuri was equally impressive, with a perfect balance of crunchiness, sweetness, and tanginess. On the next days, we also tried their uthappam, vadai and pongal. Everything tasted well. After weeks of exploring Southeast Asia and indulging in the local cuisine, we were craving Indian food, and this place truly hit the spot. It felt like a comforting 'reminder of home'. Kudos for such an authentic and flavorful experience!

I was looking for nice vegetarian food and thought of Restaurant Sangeetha at Leboh Ampang. Thus I decided to have my lunch there this afternoon. I went there, the restaurant was nice. I like the atmosphere. I was looking at the menu decided to have Thali Meal. However There was two Thalimeal 1. limited 2. unlimited. I ask the staff what is the different, the guy told me limited one cannot refill and unlimited one can ask for refill or more. I told him to bring for me the Thali meal unlimited. The food looking good. I started to eat and I like some of the items. I ask the guy to refill the vege ? He refill for me 2 types of vege and one sweet (Kesari). I also ordered coffee to have with Kesari. I am kinda full thus I decided to pack the balance food instead of waste it. I ask the same guy who served me to pack the balance food but that guy refuse to pack. I was shocked and ask him why cannot pack the food. The guy told me I asked for refill and than I pack the food.. the guy accused me by saying I purposely refill the food and wanted to pack.. Seriously that wasn't my intention. I ask to refill because I like that items but somehow I can't eat more thats why I asked him to pack for me. But he judging me wrongly.. Till the end he refused and ignored me at all. I didn't have any intention to ask for extra food and pack those food.. i only wanted to pack the food because I can't finish it and I didn't want to force myself to finish it thus I wanted to pack without wasting the food. But his perception and behaviour towards me completely wrong. He keep accused me that I asked for extra food and pack those food. Later another guy came help to pack the balance food but keep saying I m not supposed to pack any food. I went to pay the bill I told the cashier to tell the staff to behave with customers and don't treat customers so badly like this.. The cashier told me to speak to the manager. Guess what? Who is the manager ? The same guy who treated me so badly and ignored me. Its my food and I paid for it why is it they don't allow me to pack the food that was served to me and the food that I paid? Its very embarrassing for me as there were many people in the restaurant. I think the management should find a Manager who is professional polite and passionate not a Manager who accused customers and look down on people. The best part is I gave back the food they packed for me to the so call manager and he took back the food from me.. I really don't understand what's going on here. He rather waste the food than give the food away..or I even doubting now is it your restaurant collecting all the unfinished food by customers and serve them again to other customers? I m very disappointed more than that I m really feel embarrassed with the attitude of...

Mixed Experience at Sangeeta Hotel

I recently dined at Sangeeta Hotel and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. The food at this establishment was undoubtedly fantastic, but unfortunately, I can't say the same about the service.

Firstly, let's talk about the positive aspects. The culinary offerings at Sangeeta Hotel are a real treat for the taste buds. Every dish we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were authentic, and it's evident that the chefs take pride in their culinary skills. For food enthusiasts, this place is definitely worth a visit.

However, the service left much to be desired. I was disappointed to notice what seemed like a disparity in treatment between tourists and locals. It appeared that there might be different menus and pricing for tourists, which can be quite off-putting. Additionally, the service was slow and unresponsive. It's essential for any restaurant to provide consistent and attentive service to all customers, regardless of their origin.

One notable point worth mentioning is that when we ordered the same dishes via Grab delivery, the cost was significantly lower, almost 50% less than what we were charged when dining in. This raises questions about the pricing structure at Sangeeta Hotel, and it's something they should consider addressing to ensure transparency and fairness.

In conclusion, Sangeeta Hotel offers exceptional food that is sure to satisfy your taste buds. However, the disappointing service and potential pricing discrepancies for tourists may affect your overall dining experience. It's my hope that the restaurant can work on improving its service quality and pricing transparency to create a more enjoyable and fair experience for...
