Embassy of Nepal, Malaysia — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

For Malaysians applying for Nepali visa: Fill in the visa application form online (can find the site through Google, or scan QR code in the embassy, better to do it before coming because you would need to upload passport photo & print) Bring the printed form and adequate visa fee IN CASH to embassy before 1pm (IMPORTANT: the embassy only accepts hardcopy form and cash, but there are a few photostat services at the bottom floor and shop lots nearby, for atm need to walk a distance to nearby LRT station) Go to first floor, queue and pay the full amount at counter 4, you will receive a paper invoice with the date of visa collection (next day onwards from 2-4pm) Go to the embassy from next day onwards, show the invoice and collect the visa at counter 1. Done!

You would need spare out some time for two days for the whole procedure, but the actual process of paying and collecting the visa at the embassy were quite fast, probably only take like 30 minutes in total.

Extremely inefficient and unprofessional.

I was first to arrive at 930am but there was no one at the counters. When there was finally someone, he made me wait another 30mins before attending to me with no apparent reason (Operation hours are 930-1230pm for submissions).

Went back the next day to collect my visa at 3pm. Saw a line of people waiting with no one around to attend to them. Apparently people were waiting from 2pm (collection time 2-4pm).

Explanation given was that they needed an officer to sign the release who was coming back from Putrajaya. The officer finally arrived with passports in a basket. People who came much earlier had to line up again!

Worst part was, no apologies were given.

Overall: • No consideration for operation hours • No proper queuing system • No proper handling of passports (your passport could easily be misplaced or worst, stolen) • Of course, no customer service

When they coming they pay for like in malaysia Rm-9000,10000 something but when they pay already they will coming here. When they start working after few months they will be send in nepal because our contact is almost 2 years but this company send like 2,3 months ago they send because not 1 person 1 month 6,7 person annthers months again same because they never listen our problem because Nepali manpower also they can't do.
