Orange Pekoe — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE! Orange Pekoe is one of the most unpleasant places we've ever stayed at. Had booked it for 3 nights but we moved to a lovely hotel after the first night. Great accommodation in the center can be found at the same price, so I don't understand how this place still exists. Here are the highlights: in an extremely filthy and sketchy neighborhood the room was poorly insulated, so there was a lot of noise from the street and also from the other rooms; the street was noisy until late in the night, so we didn't sleep well not one good thing can be said about the room: small bathroom, no toiletries, no towels, no TV, few electric sockets, squeaky bed, uncomfortable pillows, old bed linens Wi-Fi connection was unstable and dropping all the time The staff had actually forgotten to make our reservation, so I can't really say good things about...

An interesting budget hotel right by Changkat Bukit Bintang. Has 18 rooms to cater for the budget conscious traveller who wishes to see and enjoy Kuala Lumpur. The entire hotel is clean and guests and visitors are required to remove their shoes by the shoe rack. Internet is available for all house guests for a maximum 2 hours. After that the guest have to pay a nominal fee. Then there's a Bangladeshi restoran downstairs that serves authentic Bangladeshi food. It is very cozy, nice bedrooms, free Wi-Fi, a small pantry , nice view and good staff. The bedrooms do not have tv but still is perfect. A safe to keep your things in and doorstep shopping and has many indian restaurants around. 24 hour reception and cctv hallway. It also has two computers in reception and just one tv on reception and a laundry shop at 2 meter walking distance. Perfect place to stay for holiday especially for those people who remain out most of their time...
