Pitha Ghar Restaurant is a place where you can enjoy authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, especially the traditional pithas (rice cakes). The restaurant is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and has a cozy and friendly atmosphere. The staff are courteous and attentive, and the service is fast and efficient.
The menu offers a variety of pithas, such as patishapta, malpoa, jhalpoa, vegetable puli, and nakshi pitha. The pithas are freshly made and have a soft and moist texture. The sweet ones are filled with coconut, jaggery, or khoya, and the savory ones are stuffed with vegetables, cheese, or meat. The pithas are served with different sauces and dips, such as date molasses, condensed milk, or spicy chutney.
The restaurant also serves other dishes, such as biryani, curry, kebab, and salad. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The food is flavorful and spicy, but not too hot. The restaurant uses fresh and quality ingredients, and the hygiene is well maintained.

The restaurant is popular among the locals and the expatriates, and it often gets crowded during peak hours. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance, or visit during off-peak hours. Read moreSuggested by one Bangladesh staff at the hotel where we stayed, we straight went here for early brunch to have. It turns out the array of all the food looks so appetizing and delicious. By looking at them, it's very hard to choose which ones we were gonna try. Since my husband love meats like beef, he got the famous Bangladesh beef dish as well as bitter gourd mixed with shredded melon, local spinach. For my little son, he chose just rice and chicken curry. Super delicious in taste and texture for meats and veggies. What we like most is that the food is fresh and hot that's bcoz we were just luckily being there by the time food were coming out from the kitchen. We also tried their Bangladesh sweets, as we kinda know some Indian version for it, so we enjoyed eating them while comparing the ones in India we used to have. The staff is amazing friendly and all smiles! The interior is really a bonus to me, which caught me constantly while we were eating, coz the colorfully decorated papers all around the walls, show Bangladesh life in country side. And that painting made us very cozy too.🇧🇩🖼🎨 We will for sure go there again to try more other bunch of delicious food....
