Sadly overrated in my estimation. The food I’ve had on two occasions, as well as that which my wife ordered, was just ordinary or even somewhat sub-par. This included three different lamb dishes. One was the lamb moussaka, a very “plain Jane” version which just tasted okay. The lamb “steak” I ordered was more like random lamb parts shaved to the thickness of a worn out shoe sole. It was accompanied by French fries made from reconstituted potatoes rather than from freshly cut—or even frozen potatoes sticks cut directly from the potato. Service was also mediocre. On both visits—and evening though we had the same waiter—our order was taken, food served, and that was it. No follow up to see if everything was okay and no inquiry after the meal to see if we enjoyed it.

The ambience isn’t bad though it’s nothing to rave about, and for those looking for a quiet place to pray I’m sure their prayer room is a real plus but for us there’s nothing to make us feel like we’d like to return, especially with so many of her nice places to choose from in the area.

I’ve just downgraded my review from three to two stars after learning that the restaurant “turned us in” to the EatiGo app claiming we made a reservation but didn’t show up—this after they made a big deal out of giving us three different checks one for my drink, one for my wife’s and one for dinner, emphasizing that our drinks (quite overpriced—$2.00 for iced lemon tea?!!) didn’t qualify for the discount. Why two separate checks? And then they DID NOT put the reservation discount in our dinner check. We had to ask them to do it all over again. All of this might be understandable if the place were busy. We were the only customers there at 6:00 PM. Reservation no-show? More likely they’ve lost us altogether as a customer. There’s excellent food from Bangladesh, Iraq, Turkey and...

PLEASE READ THIS HONEST REVIEW BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO GO HERE! (If you don’t believe me please read at grabfood reviews from the customers, they’re mostly bad!)

Our experience was bad. We were fooled by the good reviews from google! We were the only customers who came & by that time it already felt off. The place looks poorly maintained, their air conditioners didn’t work well, it was so hot Malaysia’s weather doesn’t help & by the looks of it they did not bother to service their ac. The waiter tried to justify by saying “you came from outside that’s why it’s hot” yet until the end it was still hot despite their multiple air conditioners!

On to their food!!: The food we ordered were very lacklustre and super disappointing! We ordered lambchop, lamb briyani, the lamb flatbread set & arabic tea in a pot.

The lamb chop was dry, thin and bony so less meat. There’s only few pieces cold chip. The gravy was cold. Salad salty and the whole portion is small for rm34 which was so not worth it & very unfulfilling! I could’ve spent it on a hearty meal!

The lamb briyani’s rice was okay but the lamb portion was very little (2 pieces??) for rm32! We’ve had bigger portion with cheaper price elsewhere. The curry sauce was very watery it tasted like chicken soup.

The lamb flatbread was bland n there’s few pieces of cold chips.

The worst is the tea (rm14) which i did not bother to drink because the teapot set was super dirty it puts me off!

Summary: NOT RECOMMENDED. WASTE OF MONEY. NOT...

I used to like this place because of comfortable location and good food. However, my mind has changed just for the last moth. Once I ordered a lamb shawarma from grab with self pick-up. When I came to specified in the app time it wasn't ready yet and I had to wait there for another 7 minutes although there was less people at the moment. Then when I came home and ate it the was no sauce inside at all, it was so so dry. Will never order it again. Last experience was a few days ago. I decided to order grilled chicken via grab, but during the rain there was only option for self pick-up. So, I ordered and decided to drive there which took abt 20 minutes. When I arrived and asked for my order they said that they don't have this chicken at the moment. When I asked why they didn't call me to inform they just shrugged and asked me to choose something else form their menu as replacement. However, I only wanted that chicken that's why I asked them to cancel the order from their side, on what they said that they cannot do that since there are no option like this. I was really upset that I derive all the way and there was no item, no one called me to inform or wanted to put some effort to cancel the order or settle the situation. At the end I had to call grab by myself to cancel this order while no one wanted to help me at the restaurant.

This is not acceptable. I hope the restaurant owner sees this review and educates his staff on how to handle...

We came in early for lunch and the manager seated us in the spot with the best air conditioning but didn't close the front doors? Weird but I felt fine. The staff was very helpful and friendly helping us with everything we needed. The falafel was great as were the grape leaves. My wife's Lentil soup was also good. My lamb seemed a little dry but very tasty especially with the red sauce. My wife didn't like her Caesar Salad that much because there was too much dressing. I didn't try it. I can't weigh in. The place looks simple but nice and as I said before the staff was nice. Though checking out was weird. We had to wait for someone who never did anything the whole time we were there to come in from outside to close out our bill. None of the other people who worked there could access the register for some reason. If you're going to micromanage then be where people can get to you faster. Otherwise, I mostly enjoyed my food and the restaurant. Come here. :-)
