Bring The Bar Home To You
First off, this is a review on their delivery service and not dine-in.
Travel into the future by “tasting today what the rest of the world will be eating tomorrow”. A promise made by this trendy bistro. The secret to bar food is simplicity, finger licking good and the ability to eat whilst having a casual chat with your mates less all the sophisticated tete-а-tete fancy plating. But can they delivery this futuristic promise to our doorstep?
Service: We placed the order via a third party app which was pretty straight forward.
Packaging: Ordinary take away boxes.
Garlic Chicken (RM 23)
The chicken was flavourful with a nice touch of garlic though it was a little dry given the nature of chicken breast. The potatoes were moist and charred on the edges with a sprinkle of herbs over the top.
Recommended? It made a nice finger food but could have been better had they used red meat.
Garlic Prawns (RM 35)
Nothing brings a huge smile to our faces better than fresh, crunchy, devined prawns sat upon crispy garlic and sun dried bread. Al thought it was a little oily, it was dripping with flavour and extremely addictive.
Recommended? There was no better parter in crime to fill our tummies on a Friday whilst amongst our mates on a night of wild rioting and debauchery

Read moreWas waiting for a cab after the pub closed and two bar tenders (male and female) were drunk and dashed a saucer infront of me on the pavement with a piece barely missing my eye and then in a threatening tone asked me why I'm looking at him and that they're off the clock and could do whatever they want. This occurred on Wednesday night/Thursday early morning (11 April). I returned to the pub the following Friday night (12 April) and informed of the events to the duty manager (a lady) who didn't seem to care too much and was questioning me as if I did something wrong! I'm an expat and this is one of my favourite pubs that I recommend to everyone, but these sequence of events are despicable and make me question my choice of coming here again or even recommending the venue to my expat community. I hope strict action will be taken against the bartenders as this is a gross display of service and tarnish of the pub's reputation. The male bartender refused to provide his name nor had a name tag but I vaguely recall the name tag of female bartender as Shin Shin or a similar name. The duty manager's reaction/response makes me wonder whether customer feedback is taken seriously and I leave it to the owner / management of this establishment to take action or...
Read moreHonestly my least favorite bar in KL after giving it three separate chances to be as great as people say it is.
Was touched inappropriately by patrons at this bar on multiple occasions. They don’t serve water upstairs for patrons who are drinking and really need to hydrate which is a giant health issue. The downstairs put other people’s drinks on my table’s tab because the bar staff doesn’t ask for a tab name or and is unable to track who is with what group of people once people come in to use standing room. Was trying to go up the stairs and was pushed by another guest into the railing and started bleeding. Also when they messed up our order… they nicely agreed to cancel the order since we had to leave in 15 minutes and didn’t have time to wait for the correct thing. But then brought out my original order 10 minutes later and tried to guilt me into taking it by saying “she would need to pay for it since I am refusing what I ordered”.
In general, it’s a popular bar so you can come here to meet other people who live in KL but there are definitely better...
