OYO 123 Hotel Surya — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

I was given a room next to the main reception. The receptionist watches TV with high volume which I was able to hear clearly in my room. I had to tell him to reduce the volume on both the nights I stayed here.The pillow was very hard in my room.I asked him if he could provide me with another lighter pillow and he blatantly said that there was no other pillow. The staff who comes in the night shift was not courteous enough. I had to literally plead for a normal water in the night as they were selling only cold water.(and Yes, they don't provide water in the room).||Secondly,I was able to hear a noise from the main box when I switched on the power supply of the room sometimes. The technician who came, asked me to switch on and off the main line whenever I heard the sound. I thought he was coming to fix it! Rather after paying the room rental for my comfortable stay, I was given another task of switching on and off of the main line whenever I heard the noise.||The room size is comparatively small which is probably because it was a low budget room. If you pay additional 20RM(105RM), you can get better and comfortable rooms in the same street. ||The only major plus for the hotel is...

went to hotel to be told they had already given our room away because they were busy and they wanted the money! Receptionist was not helpful at all wasn't even going to let us use the wifi to find another hotel. When the manager arrived he said he did have our room but it wouldn't be ready till later because we had arrived at an odd time ( we emailed them to say we were arriving early and all we wanted to do was leave our bags at reception but the rudeness and ineptness off both employee's made us go else where) when i explained our situation to the manager all he said was what do you want me to do? Maybe just treat someone who has booked at your hotel with a little bit of respect, manners cost nothing....
