This is a wallet friendly hotel. It’s clean, well-maintained and the rooms are fairly spacious. There were a few stains on the bed sheets but not so severe to freak me out. It is value for money and you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly and there’s even a lift for wheelchair users, as there are no rooms at ground/road level!! Well done!! In the common hallway, there is a water station (free to top up your own bottles) and an ironing board.

Tip: There are windows but you’re more than likely to have them shut for privacy and to keep the noise out! And the traffic noise can be quite loud. My room was on the first floor directly facing the main road but thankfully, I can sleep through a hurricane so it wasn’t an issue for me but the traffic is...

The hotel location was ideal - close to the river, in Little India not far from the touristy spots. Customer service was excellent. I had a snafu with my hotel booking and it was very amicably resolved by staff and the lady boss, who even called me to assure all is well. Very personalised service. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Being a 1+ years hotel everything was clean and nice including bed sheets etc and bathroom. Hotel has a queer lift (not the traditional one) but served the purpose very well - very suited for wheelchairs. Only inconvenience I had though small was the location of the wash basin outside the bathroom. It could have been just outside the bathroom door. It wasnt a big deal. The hotel is newish and well-placed: A few steps from the riverside and in the heart of Little India! It was a good place to start exploring the northern portion of the heritage area. I went for the spacious corner room with a balcony on the second floor. The elevator was an industrial type found in a separate entrance next to an Indian flower shop! The wifi was strong and the big flat TV had a good channel selection. There was no refrigerator, but a hot/cold water dispenser was available in the hallway.
