Alright, let's talk about Aloha Burger and Laksa Noodle, the place with that undeniably good vibe, even if the food was just... okay. Walking into Aloha Burger and Laksa Noodle feels like a little escape. The atmosphere is just right – not too loud, not too quiet, with a really welcoming energy that makes you instantly feel at ease. You can tell the owners have put thought into creating a space where people genuinely enjoy hanging out. The good vibes are definitely there. Now, about the food. Let's start with the Aloha Burger. It was... fine. The patty was cooked adequately, and the toppings, which included grilled pineapple and some kind of slaw, offered a hint of that tropical flair they're going for. However, it didn't quite reach that level of "wow." It was a decent burger, perfectly edible, but nothing particularly memorable. The Laksa Noodle was also... average. The broth had the basic elements of a laksa – a bit of spice, a touch of creaminess – but it lacked that depth of flavor that makes a truly great laksa sing. The noodles were cooked properly, and there were the expected toppings like prawns and tofu puffs, but overall, it just didn't leave a lasting impression. It was a standard bowl of laksa, nothing more, nothing less. What's interesting about Aloha Burger and Laksa Noodle is the contrast between the pleasant ambiance and the somewhat unremarkable food. It's the kind of place where you might go to chill with friends and not necessarily because you're craving a mind-blowing culinary experience. The service was friendly and efficient, which certainly added to the positive feeling of the place. The staff were attentive and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Overall, Aloha Burger and Laksa Noodle is a spot with a genuinely nice atmosphere. If you're looking for a place in Malacca to relax and soak in some good vibes, this could be it. However, if you're a hardcore foodie seeking exceptional flavors in your burger or laksa, you might find the taste to be just average. It's a trade-off – great ambiance, okay food. You'll have to decide what your...
Read moreWe first ate here in Sep 2024 but I can't remember why I didn't post then. Perhaps I was so blown away by the Udang Lemak Nenas Pizza that I forgot myself for a while 🤪
Yesterday, I got to relive the moment and it was as beautiful as the first time! Granted, purist pizza lovers might not classify this as a bona fide pizza given it's a little bit of a challenge picking up a piece and eating it the traditional way (but that's because they are too too generous with the toppings which packed a dense mouthful).
The flavours brought me back home, when mum used to cook this dish, but this time I got to enjoy it in a novel way as a pizza. Brilliant!
We also loved the Smoked Duck Thai Salad, a punchy combination of piquant dressing with generous lashings of fresh vegetables and the most succulent, fantabulous duck slices. Loves to the maxx 🥰
Hubby was in awe of the mango milk too, a simple but luscious concoction. Tasted like they froze mango pieces/puree so it provided an adventure to the experience when stirring it up and taking the first explosive sip!
The welcoming staff on the first floor was cheery, hoping it rubs off our wait staff on the second floor next time. Perhaps he was having a little bit of a down day. He did his job well and was attentive though, just maybe a smile and some heart would have matched the vibe of the rest of the space (no hate, just providing feedback).
In any case, we will be back. This cafe is on our list of must dos whenever we are in Melaka. Thank you for the gastronomic...

It's never something palatable enough that we would come back for, comparing it to the price paid.
The interior and ambient are just good and cosy although the nearest parking can be few hundred meters of walk away (not a problem on non-rainy, non-scorching day).
The service is just normally decent. Our request (to replace beef with chicken) wasn't fulfilled even though the waiter asked us to include that in order's remark section. We ordered for drink with less ice but I guess different customers have different definition of 'less ice' because I still had to remove most of the ice cubes from the drink served.
I assume this is more a touristy restaurant given its location and pricing.
I had almost wanted to order a cheese cake as it's my birthday on my visit today, but I think there are better one served...
