Big Dreams Garden Stay — Hotel in Pahang

Very nice place and nice family! The room was nice but some parts were a bit loose. The location is superb, but you should pack earplugs since there's some ridiculously loud cars passing on the road nearby (not the owner's fault of course!)

We booked a private tour to our individual interests with the owner, who grew up in this town. A real local! He knows many hidden places and people and shares a lot of background (and also critical) information about Cameron Highlands and it's history and tourism. Since his family worked at a tea plantation themselves, he could tell us first hand about the industry. We even skipped the popular butterfly farm Mossy Forest as it's very touristy and he showed us a much better hiking trail!!! There was no time limit and he waited for us as we strolled around. He had hiking sticks, which were very helpful! On the way we passed other famous places such as the Smokehouse and the Golf course. On our way we tried many fruits.

Places we visited: Buddhist temple Cactus Valley + strawberry farm (which was not that interesting for us, since we're from Germany) Coral Hill (steep and adventurous short hike) Boh tea Plantation (which was closed on Monday, but we drove around to the best viewpoints as he stated out lots of interesting facts about tea) Famers market (to try Jackfruit) Flower + vegetable farms (hidden place, it's not on...

Cosy and affordable accommodation! Truly feels value for money ✨️

Checked-in at around 6pm and the staff was friendly. Essentials such as shower gels, shampoo, dental kit, towels, toilet slipper, extra blanket, tv and complimentary bottled water were available! There's also a cute little courtyard outside our room. Felt very cosy and nice, especially with the fairy lights at night. The room itself is really spacious and feels homely.

Location is also good - near a mall if you need essentials (Guardian and Mr Diy), lots of eatery places nearby (we recommend Sate Abang which is less than 10 mins by foot) and the bus terminal is also nearby.

Lots of parking space and you can rent a motorbike from them.

Only downside for me personally was that the shower heater was not as strong and you can't adjust the temperature for the sink tap - we were freezing as it was raining when we were staying there! Also wished there was more pillows as there was only two - but these are minor flaws.

Loooooove our stay this time. My husband and me reached kinda late for check in but the service for receiptionist still there regardless 10pm already. Spacious room, no smelly, great bathroom, good breakfast.

Details that captured my heart are this vanity kit. Glad they provided this for someone who always forget to bring cotton pad with us like me. Or for those who travel with bike where we need to minimize our make up things.

Shower gel, soap, toothbrush, towel are provided as well.

Not to forget the garden! phew! at night it was really mellow and romantic. when the day comes, you really feels down to earth with the beauty. “Book here again whenever we come here” my husband said.

Oh, cause it is next to the road and busy place like Tanah Rata town, you can hear bike sound from outside but i think we can deal with it.
