OYO 89937 Madani Hotel — Hotel in Pahang

My girlfriend and I just stayed here last night. We only chose this hotel because it was the Thaipusam holiday weekend and so many other hotels were completely booked up. We should have paid extra to stay somewhere nicer for just one night.||Here are all the problems; toilet doesn't flush at all; bathroom light is broken; if turning on water heater, can't use cool water in shower/sink unless you switch the heater off; open ceiling tile in bathroom, so insects and maybe rats could sneak in; window in bathroom is permanently open, so cigarette smoke and insects can fly in; spider webs on bathroom door frame; numerous cockroaches hiding everywhere (lifted toilet paper roll to discover a huge one!); room smells moldy; towels a bit dirty; bed has stains; saucers for teacups are dirty; key card doesn't open door, so you always need to get the staff to unlock it; deadbolt lock doesn't work, so staff could potentially open door when you're inside; no a/c or heater; walls don't block noise. Based on the info I got from Agoda, I booked the family room for 4 pax.||||It was a major disappointment when I got to the hotel. For the price I paid, the reception was just one table with one girl manning the entire hotel. The family room was actually for 3 pax only as the room has 1 double bed & 1 single bed instead of 2 double beds.||||There was no lift going up to the rooms and the room was exceptionally small with no window. It had a musty smell and to make things worse, the bedsheet had stains of blood & god-knows-what and hair. The towels & blankets didn't look clean either.||||I asked for a different room but there was no other room vacant. The receptionist didn't even offer to change the sheets or blankets. Paid more than RM200 for a very cramp, old and obselete interior for 3 pax room, i did not expect that me and my family will end up with the terrible condition room that was not tally with the price charged, i don't know if the hotel was not aware with their business strategy as their room offered are not par with the price subjected. Please upgrade your room, customer will pay much more as hotel can give their best room and holiday experience, do not ever come if you have not made any online booking as the price charged are not reasonable and considered very expensive for a low level room than...
