L’ISTRA Marrakech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food was disgusting—bland, poorly cooked, and some of it was gone off. It smelled awful and was completely inedible. We were a table of five, and every single one of us agreed it was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had.

The management and director were shockingly rude. When I brought up my concerns, they dismissed me like I didn’t matter. They have zero respect for their customers and no idea how to run a decent establishment.

Do yourself a favor and stay far, FAR away from this place. It’s a waste of time, money, and appetite.

Your response to my review is nothing short of insulting. Instead of addressing the legitimate concerns I raised, you’ve chosen to dismiss my experience and question its validity. This is not only unprofessional but an attempt to deflect responsibility rather than acknowledge the serious issues that occurred.

Let me be clear: The food was inedible—bland, poorly cooked, and some of it was spoiled. There were five of us at the table, and every single one of us agreed that this was by far the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. The disgusting smell and the quality of the food made it evident that your standards are shockingly low.

The management’s response was even worse. When I voiced my concerns that day, I was treated with complete disregard, as if my feedback didn’t matter. And now, instead of accepting my honest feedback, you’ve chosen to dismiss it yet again, showing that you have no intention of actually addressing issues or improving. This utter lack of respect for customers speaks volumes about how your establishment is run.

Rather than defensively questioning customers’ experiences, I suggest you focus on improving your food quality, customer service, and overall management. Until you do, I strongly advise anyone to stay far, very far away from this place. It’s a complete waste of time, money,...

Fantastic place to come with friends or a loved one for a night out. Staff is very attentive, not pushy and will treat you very well. The tagine here is very flavorful and the vegetables they are served with are delicious.

The standout of the night however was the Shisha (Hookah). We got one with fruit and had an amazing level of service keeping it going.

My friends and I stumbled into Manuella on our first night in Marrakech. We ate, we drank and we partied all night. The staff were amazing from the bar to the DJ but what made the night even more special was the manager who not only took the time to check on us but talked to us and genuinely ensured we had everything we wanted.
