My recent five-night stay at Riad Sultan Suleiman in Marrakech unfolded as a series of disappointments, overshadowing any positive aspects that might have existed.||Upon our arrival, we were left unattended in the lobby for an extended period, setting the tone for a cascade of issues. The misrepresentation of the booked suites added to the frustration. ||Despite booking two suites via Booking.com, the reality fell far short of the descriptions. The promised "living room" turned out to be merely a double bed and two chairs, with a total space of approximately 15 square meters compared to the advertised 30 sqm. This vast disparity between what was advertised and what was provided created a palpable sense of dissatisfaction. Attempting to address this issue with the receptionist resulted in defensiveness and an unhelpful solution – a different suite for two nights followed by a downgrade to a noisy ground-floor room, which was impractical with an infant.||Seeking a fair resolution, I suggested a refund for the price difference between the suite and an ordinary room, given the vast disparity in what was promised and what was delivered. Regrettably, this request was denied.||The breakfast service, marked by a slow pace and a reluctance to fulfill reasonable requests for additional items, further underscored the lack of commitment to guest satisfaction. Despite my willingness to pay extra charges for a more fulfilling breakfast experience, the staff's attitude conveyed an unwarranted inconvenience.||It is worth noting that “Hamza” and the “femme de chamber” were nice to us.||The final night brought an unexpected twist as the receptionist decided to cook downstairs, resulting in slightly burned food and smoke permeating into our rooms. When we sought an explanation and resolution, the receptionist's defensive stance and dismissive response were disheartening.||Throughout our stay, it became increasingly evident that the management not only resisted feedback but also engaged in dubious tactics to manipulate online reviews. The intentional cancellation marked as a "no show" on our last night, ostensibly to avoid negative feedback, revealed a concerning approach to guest relations.||In conclusion, Riad Sultan Suleiman failed on multiple fronts—from misrepresented rooms to poor breakfast service and defensive management. The intentional cancellation incident, coupled with the vast disparity in the suites' descriptions, underscores the need for transparency and integrity in their operations. I strongly caution prospective guests to weigh their options carefully and consider establishments in Marrakech that prioritize genuine service, transparent communication, and a commitment to guest...

This Riad is a true definition of hospitality; from our arrival to our departure, both Hamza and Abdul with the great assistance of Naima, who made sure that our room was spotless, made us feel safe, well taken care of, ensured to give us the best recommendations and a delightful inclusive breakfast every single day. They even offered us breakfast out of hours and organised all of our activities that, compared to other guests from different hotels turned out to be cheaper.||They are truly committed to their guests by even being available 24/7 on WhatsApp and we cannot ask for more: this is our favourite accommodation ever and made us feel home.
