We had a wonderful time at Ryan Dyor. From the moment we entered we were made to feel like their most important guests - from the bottomless Moroccan tea and pastries, to the unending supply of pomegranates! The team are very helpful in providing recommendations and advice, nothing is too much trouble - especially Mattieu (we think that was his name, he’d only been there a few weeks). The Riad itself is a delight - very well maintained and the rooftop is fantastic. The breakfast was one of our favorite things about Dyor - beautiful setting, great service and super variety. It impressed us and our teenage children, which is no mean feat. Would highly recommend staying here when you visit Marrakech!

Amongst boutiques hotels, organic coffee shops, handcrafts shops, organics farm to table restaurants lays the sanctuary which is ryad Dyor. When the door opens it is a whole world of elegance and beauty that unfolds beyond your eyes. The whole team was genuinely thoughful, helpful and very well groomed. The owner is loved by everybody working there, it spreads good vibes. I would go back or advise that hotel to any family or friends visiting Marrakech. -

Ryad Dyor is a gem. My wife and I stayed there for 3 (2+1) nights in December 2024. While many Riads can suffer from rather gaudy interiors, Ryad Dyor is really tastefully done. It's in the medina but the rooms are surprisingly quiet thru the day and at night. We stayed in two of their junior suites if I am recalling correctly, and both were just superb. But, more than anything else, what makes Ryad Dyor stand out are the people who make the place work. All of the staff members--Bel (manager I believe), Omar, Karima and others (forgeting names, sorry)--are extremely helpful, warm, and kind. Karima worked hard to get us an extra night that we needed during the high peak period of the Christmas while Omar woke up early to get us our breakfast outside of regular breakfast times, so we didn't go hungry to an excursion to the high Atlas mountains. They booked us a taxi for our excursion with Abdel who used to work at Ryad Dyor but now has his own fleet of taxis. And, just as everyone, Abdel too was super helpful and soft-spoken, taking us into the Atlas mountains off-the-beaten track and explaining things better than any guide ever could. Take Abdel if you want to head out of Marrakesh for excursions. And, then there is Bel, the manager, who is just brilliant in planning things for the guests. Clearly has a lot of experience in the hospitality industry, which shines through. Extremely helpful and kind. Not just while we were staying at Ryad Dyor, but even while we were traveling to Tangier and other places or needed help with few things. For instance, we forgot one of our jackets in a Riad in Essaouira that is 3 hrs away from Marrakech. We were really struggling to get the jacket back to Marrakesh somehow and weren't going anywhere. So, we spoke to Bel about it, and true to form, he was like, 'just leave it to me.' He made a few calls to his contacts in Essaouira, one of whom picked up the jacket from the Riad there in a matter of few hours, and then had it delivered to Ryad Dyor the very next day. But, that's not all. We unfortunately couldn't find an available room at Ryad Dyor upon our return from our travels, so were booked into another place outside the medina. So, Bel went out of his way to drop the jacket at that place - all while we were away. He didn't have to do that. Very few would but what a gesture of genuine concern and care for others. More importantly, Bel knows places to check out, not just in Marrakesh but also in other places like Fes and Tangier. He's been in the hospitality industry for long, so knows places and people. We kept communicating with Bel for his recommendations on places to eat, see, and relax, and I must say he has really refined tastes. Told us stunning places to go see and eat-at but also where not to go, what is over-hyped or too touristic. In Marrakesh, in Tangier, and in Fes. All of his recommendations were top-notch. In places where he knew people, he readily offered to also get us a reservation if were struggling. In short, if you are looking to stay in the Medina, then Ryad Dyor is the place to be at. The owners should be proud of their team, which clearly works hard to make things move seamlessly behind the scenes for their guests to have a calm and relaxing...

An absolutely splendid Ryad. A faultless, stunning place to stay in the heart of Marrakesh. From booking, to arrival, our stay and the departure - everything was flawless and made for an easy and most enjoyable trip in February 2024.

Upon booking a helpful email was received full of useful information, along with a pre arrival WhatsApp which was very helpful. The Ryad arranged (for a fee) an airport pick up and drop off which I’d highly recommend. Ryad Dyor is a short walk from the main road drop off, where the staff were waiting to greet us and carry the bags the short walk to the hotel. I would have struggled to navigate the way to Ryad Dyor without local help.

Upon arrival the hotel had pre-arranged an authentic dinner on the rooftop. Here you can end your day with sundowner drinks and enjoy a plentiful breakfast with stunning views of the city rooftops and the Atlas Mountains.

Ryad Dyor is a very short and easy walk from the Medina. It’s well located for everything that’s needed to do in Marrakesh.

The overall vibe of the Ryad was understated luxury and relaxation. It’s modern, clean and stylish while feeling authentic and embracing Moroccan charm and culture. Our bedroom suite faced into a courtyard and was spacious with a wonderful en-suite with bath and rainfall shower. In chillier evenings a wood fire can be lit in the room.

There’s a Hammam that can be booked along with a massage, which was good.

Finally, all the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, hospitable and welcoming. Thank you for a...
