In my 6 days (July 22 - July 27) of stay, the camarederie of this hotel is amazing! Stayed in monsoon season but never a hindrance to do whatever I wanted to do in Nepal. It is not just a hotel rather it is a home away from home. They treat you not just like a guest rather a family to them. They will give their outmost best for you to have your remarkable stay. The receptionist were all perfect most especially Saurav who really extended his help for me to come along in places where I can buy souvenirs. The elder one in the reception as well so sorry if I forgot his name, he use to be my alarm clock that keeps on time of waking me up by a phone call whenever I told him to do so. The 2 lovely receptionist were great, i just love having conversation with them. The Chef is so bubbly and really on the go. The kitchen staffs and restaurant crew are the best, they will keep checking if everything is great or you still need more. The driver Bishal was the best, he is not just a driver yet a tour guide as well. He will tell you details of any historical places we go, he became my bestfriend for learning alot from him about Nepal. The cleaners were doing their job great in the rooms, did it well organized. The management most especially Sir Megah made it possible to let the guest most especially me feel that staying with them is worth it! He was very kind, respectful, on the go, gives you ideas and best options in your itinerary. He will make your stay worth it as long as you will just share to him what are your plans to do in Nepal. Once a leader has this characteristics, 100% the staffs will be the same. This hotel creates a bond that will make choose to come back to them in your next stay in Nepal. Dhanyavad Aryatara Kathmandu Hotel for taking care of me and making my stay worth it! See you soon,...

Thamel is a great choice for travelers interested in shopping, food and hiking. tayed here for 3 nights and definitely recommend this hotel to others. Great hospitality by manager Megh. He was very friendly and helpful during our stay, always asked if we enjoyed our stay and any help needed. He helped us to arrange private car with driver for Pokhara and Lumbini. We were very lucky to engage their private car service due to the bad road condition and long hour journey. Other staffs are very helpful too. Great breakfast. Banana porridge is one of the highlight and must try if they serve it. :) Great value for money as hotel also located out of Thamel area but within walking distance and provide serene...

This is a nice, relatively small hotel situated down a quiet road off the busy track right in the centre of the Thamel district in Kathmandu (the tourist area). There are a number of hotels on the [private?] road, so its access is clear, all very well looked after and managed. There is almost no traffic, which for the centre of Kathmandu is amazing, and thus the hotel was very quiet inside. All the staff [day and night shift, security, restaurant, cleaning, drivers, management] at the hotel are very friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast is fine with hot and cold items. I also asked for omelette, black masala tea, and milk masala tea - all were provide with curtesy and were very good. The room was good, everything worked, the bed was comfortable and it was all clean. There was ample hot water for a good shower (or a few baths) day and night and fresh bottled water was provided every day, and on additional request. For trips the hotel was very helpful, and arranged taxis around Kathmandu, and even a driver for a half day. I felt very safe with their provision. The hotel manager also used contacts in Pokhara to provide me with guided tours to all the must see items there too, and organised my flight to see Mt Everest in the morning. High speed internet connection available too in each room. I would recommend staying at this hotel, it has a good...
