Hotel Shree Tara — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We took a double room, so it was very spacious for two person. The water can be refilled from filter anytime you want. They provide breakfast in the room by 7-9 AM, which is great when you are too tired from trekking. The location is great, most of of the tourist places are in walking distance. But can get better in terms of service and cleanliness. There were no towels and toilet paper, after asking they again forgot. There were little cockroaches in the washroom and room, one got into our luggage. The bed sheets are really old and the bed was not very comfortable. There is a gap in the washroom door which is the only ventilation attached to the bedroom, so all the smell just comes to the room. Disappointing Customer Service Experience with the Manager

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the facilities were decent, the experience was ruined by the unprofessional behavior of the hotel manager. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the manager had little to no regard for customer satisfaction. They were dismissive of our concerns and failed to address basic requests.

When we tried to resolve an issue with our booking, the manager was rude, uncooperative, and completely unhelpful. Instead of listening to our concerns, they seemed more interested in arguing and making excuses. The lack of professionalism and customer service left a bad taste in our mouths and overshadowed the rest of the stay.

I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you expect a management team that values its guests. This experience has made me rethink ever returning to this...

I had the best experience here. We got the room at a cheap promotional price with complementary breakfast (green veg, omlette, bread, milk, tea and coffee powder, sugar, honey, and jam). The hotel is at a very luxurious location at Thamel. Easily accessible. The room is also neat and clean. Geyser was working fine. They even provided room heater, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo and towel. Our room was at the 2nd floor, with a roof top just outside the main door.
