Darbar Heritage Inn — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

My husband and I stayed in the Darbar Heritage Inn on our recent trip to Nepal, booking in when we first arrived, and then choosing to go back on our way back through Kathmandu having travelled around and been on a trek.||The hotel is clean and comfortable and all the staff very friendly. The showers are great (highly appreciated after some days trekking!) and it is very well-located in the heart of Thamel's tourist district.||While you're there, you can walk over to Swayambhunath, a temple complex swarming with monkeys; the Garden of Dreams, a pretty little garden on the edge of Thamel; or the small Museum of Nepali Art. Nightlife in Thamel is also great: highly recommend both Everest Irish Pub and the Hole in the Wall for drinks, Purple Haze club for atmosphere, and Newa MoMo for food (although there are so many other great restaurants it would take too long to list...)||For LGBTQ+ travellers, my husband and I had no problems staying here as a couple (or indeed...

カトマンズ滞在中にこちらのホテルを利用しました。 本当に満足いく素晴らしい時間になりました。 まず特筆すべきは、オーナーのディネスさん。なんと日本語がペラペラで、日本人旅行者にとっては本当に心強い存在です。とても親切で気遣いがあり、タクシーの手配から観光の相談まで、あらゆることに快く対応してくれました。

ホテルの立地も抜群で、タメル地区のど真ん中。食事や買い物、散策にも困りません。部屋はとても清潔で広々としており、小さなテーブルと椅子もあって、ゆっくりとくつろげました。

個人的に一番感動したのはシャワーの水圧と温度！ネパールでこんなに快適なシャワーが使えるなんて想像していませんでした。毎日のシャワータイムが楽しみになります。

スタッフの方々も皆さん気さくで優しく、とてもフレンドリーに接してくれます。探しているお土産を伝えたら、実際にそれを売っているお店を探してくれた上に、その場所まで案内してくれるという神対応まで！

立地、サービス、スタッフの質、そして価格のバランスが本当に素晴らしいホテルです。今後カトマンズに来るときは、迷わずここを常宿にしようと思います。心からおすすめできる宿です。

I had an amazing stay at this hotel during my trip to Kathmandu. I can confidently say it was one of the best accommodations I've experienced.

First of all, the owner, Mr. Dinesh, speaks fluent Japanese, which was incredibly helpful for me as a Japanese traveler. He was extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to assist—whether it was arranging a taxi or giving helpful local advice.

The location is perfect for exploring the Thamel area. Everything—restaurants, shops, attractions—is just a short walk away. The room was clean, spacious, and came with a small table and chairs, making it very comfortable to relax in.

One of the highlights was definitely the shower. Strong water pressure and plenty of hot water—something quite rare and luxurious in Nepal. I actually looked forward to shower time every day!

All the staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, home-like atmosphere. When I mentioned a specific souvenir I was looking for, they even took the time to guide me to the shop that sold it. Truly above and beyond!

The service level, the hospitality, the location, and the reasonable price—all exceeded my expectations. I’m sure this hotel will become my go-to place whenever I visit Kathmandu again. Highly...

We were supposed to stay two nights but we extended our stay and then after returning to Kathmandu we chose this hotel and felt at home again. the internet is suitable for work, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure in the shower is excellent. and the service is always nice, smiling and ready to help:) and the location in the very center of Thamel makes it easier to organize your time.
