Electric Pagoda Bar & Cafe — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Unfortunately, my recent visit did not live up to expectations. The quesadillas were poorly made—the cheese failed to seal the tortilla properly, leading to fillings spilling out, which made it difficult to enjoy. The lack of cheesiness, a key element of a good quesadilla, was quite disappointing. Plus it had a pungent stench with little to no trace of chicken!

The sandwich, on the other hand, was served with bread that was soggy, making it impossible to hold without the filling falling apart. A disappointing experience for what should have been a simple, well-made dish.

Moreover, the dining area was plagued by mosquitoes. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my visit. Improvements in both food quality and environment are needed.

Also, the staff seemed more focused on catering to white customers, ignoring the needs of local customers.

I’m going back here and highly don’t recommend this...

My partner and I visited this place after walking past and admiring the outdoor seating area. The food was INCREDIBLE! Would highly recommend the chilly mushroom dish, and the brownie for dessert. The vibes were high, and the atmosphere was pumping. Service was slightly slow and intermittent, particularly as the night went on and it got busy. Our biggest negative was the fact the VAT is charged at the final bill and is not reflected on the menu prices, so we got caught out ordering and not thinking to calculate the added VAT. This was a slightly bitter ending to an otherwise lovely night. I would still go back for the food and the atmosphere, but would recommend being careful with ordering by calculating VAT as you go if...

Worst food in all the Nepal. Don't go there.

I have gone to a number of restaurants in Thamel area but this has the worst food of all.

They can't even make Nachos 😭

I saw almost everyone leaving their plates half- full.

Not a place is you want to enjoy snacks or food... And you can get drinks at any place in this area.

The only attraction here is the "Live-Music".. but there are plenty of other places .

I ordered Nachos.. they were bad.. I left half of it... I ordered veg burger .. i left it after having 2 bites ... I ordered Chicken Satay .. I left it after having one piece..

Two of us couldn't finish these three dishes.. that too when we were very hungry..

Although choice is yours but my advice...
