I stayed in Lemon Tree hotel in Paknajol, Thamel (not associated with the famous hotel chain of the same name) for 3 nights in June 2022. I booked a deluxe single room via MakeMyTrip. The room was small but perfect. It had everything one would need including wifi, hot shower, a spacious closet, neat and clean bedsheets and towels etc. Housekeeping came to the room daily to clean the bathroom and make the bed. They even replaced the perishable items like mineral water and bath soap. The hotel is situated in the tourist hotspot of Thamel but still a little distance away from the busy chaotic area near Narsing Chowk. No bars with loud music or dance clubs nearby. You can get a good night's sleep after a tiring day. Last but not the least, the staff were always polite and helpful - even while I woke them up in the middle of the night to open the gate.
