Hity Cafe — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Service was good, as is the location, temperament and interior, however, it is more expensive than equivalent cafes and my Lassi was made with bad dairy so it was very cheesy. The vegetable chow mein was good though, and everything was well presented. Given the bad Lassi and prices though, I wouldn't return again. Although, there are loads of places to eat in this area of Kathmandu, this place ended up being my local cafe/restaurant during my stay in Thamel.

It's by far one of the cleaner looking restaurants for the area, and the food is very affordable (200Rs for a Dahl baht/Tally, 200Rs for burger and fries, 80Rs Americano)

We come here for the food and coffee but also the nicest owner and staff. They are always so welcoming and happy. We’ve had great coffees there as well as delicious dhal bhat.
