Himalayan Guest House — Hotel in Pokhara

Walking inside Himalayan Guest House is like leaving hectic Lakeside and main street of Pokhara. This area is so quiet and so peaceful, it's really good to rest after a busy day! When in the room, you don't hear anything anymore.||||Room was quite spacious and well-furnished. Linen was comfortable and bathroom was clean. It is not so easy to get hot water though. Had to turn on the water for about 10 minutes to get 'not-so-cold' water.||||Staff at reception was kind and friendly. I stayed there more than three times, and at least for 3 nights.||The last time we were there with 12 persons, three families actually.||Its not far from lake, not in the main street (to avoid sound pollution). Recently they have widened the street and black topped it, it really looks very good now.||They also have a restaurant, Himalaya Kitchen, those who are fond of Local food, they could enjoy the restaurant. My husband and I stumbled upon this place, because they serve a fantastic breakfast. We moved from another really good place, but the restaurant was a selling point for us. Our room has carpet, and is very cozy. The staff is very helpful in every way possible. Even when the kitchen is closed, we can still get water. Someone is always on staff to assist with anything we need. During the day, there are different areas to sit and relax read a book, or for me to practice yoga.
