Where to begin…My boyfriend has stayed in this place before. Actually, every time he went to Pokhara, he stayed with this family. The place is extremely well situated. Within walking distance to the town’s park, the Tourism Office (in case you are trekking like we did and need to go get your permit), also “Downtown”, family owned convenience stores, a few local, really delicious restaurants, and other attractions. Yet, while been so close to it all; it is in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The family is also incredibly helpful when it comes to booking attractions. Their referrals were also very trust worthy and we felt safe at all times. Besides we falling in love with the area, the views of the Himalayas from their rooftop, on a clear day, were breathtaking! And the grandma’s laughter contagious! ||The rooms are quite large, the shower and restroom were very comfortable with really nice hot water, and the place extremely clean…impeccable! If I could, I would permanently move here! One of the many places we visited but The One, I will hold very close to my memories and heart! I miss being there! If it wasn’t from how welcomed we felt there, I believe my perception of Pokhara would have been different! Thank you Dhiraj and family for your exceptional...
Read moreI didn’t actually stay here, but did stay at their sister location next door. One of the co-owners of both hotels who manages the Hotel Mountain View did lend me one of his trekking poles to use on my Poon Hill summit, free-of-charge. This is just an example of the great service coming from this establishment.
The Pahari family are masters of their craft when it comes to customer appreciation, and if the way I was treated as an honored guest at the Snow Peak Hotel is any indication of the hospitality you’ll receive at the Hotel Mountain View, then I can surmise that this is the best budget hotel in all of Pokhara.
I would whole-heartedly trust this hotel blindly to host my accommodations. That’s how wonderful the Pahari family is at old fashioned customer service that is but a lost art form in today’s modern world.
I happened to meet some of the guests at the Hotel Mountain View, one of whom returns every year to this hotel to take in some “mountain therapy”. He had only flattering things to say about the place.
If you’re looking for a great placed backed by the Pahari hotel legacy name, and at very reasonable prices and a great location, then I’m confident that you’ll be pleased...
Read moreHotel mountain view is a hidden gem! I cannot recommend highly enough it has a beautiful energy and is ran by a beautiful family where nothing is too much trouble. ||The location is fantastic it's within walking distance to shops and busy areas but also provides serenity to what can become sometimes overwhelming crowds and noise in central pokhora. ||The rooms are fantastic I would class the rooms as shabby chic and minimal very nicely decorated, by far the best place I've stayed during my visit to Nepal the beds are super comfortable, appliances to make your own hot drinks. ||Extremely friendly and offer support with booking any trekking, site seeing, tours that you would like to do. ||A bonus if you are travelling on a budget this is also the place to stay value for money second to none. If you are considering to stay consider no more and book you will ot regret it! I will definitely be returning back to hotel mountain view! ||Thank you for...
