Hotel Ice View Pokhara — Hotel in Pokhara

Iv stayed in some terrible hotels before but this took the biscuit with its illusion of cleanliness. We arrived and it looked clean but then it all started to reveal its self, none of the showers worked and in the first room was some kind of disgusting cloth underneath the bed so we changed rooms. We left for dinner, came back and found 2 cockroaches in my luggage and another 2 in the bed. As they scurried away under the bed I discovered the bed frame was damp and they (the roaches) where living inside the frame. Nope. In the rush to leave we accidentally left some cloths drying on the bars covering the windows behind the curtains so I came back and our old room had been "cleaned" but they totally didn't notice any of my cloths hanging behind the curtains?! How is the room clean if you miss 3 items of clothing from the previous travelers! Not worth the small price, pay a little more for something...

This is a well priced guesthouse, run by a fantastic family. They were amazing during our stay, when we encountered some problems and lost many of our belongings and they were so helpful and attentive. The water was warm, they provided towels and the wifi is fast. The views of the Annapurna mountains in the morning (when the sky was clear) was wonderful. I recommend this guesthouse to those after a good budget room!

Stayed here in December by myself and was immediately made to feel at home by the staff.||Aneal (the hotel owner) is a great guy and I would now consider him a good friend. The hostel is great value for money, with fast wifi, hot shower, and great views over the Annapurna mountain range. ||Only slight hiccup is that the beds are a bit hard - other than that I could not rate this place highly enough.
