Hotel The Kantipur — Hotel in Pokhara

One of the best Hotels I've ever visited in Nepal, I meant in the hospitality the hotel provides to its guests. The people there is always seen with a smile on their faces and always ready to serve u. The food is good and consists of both veg and non veg cuisines. The rooms are differentiated between suits and normal rooms. You can have a scenic view of the Annapurana ranges. It's just a 15 minutes drive from the hotel to the Pokhra Domestic airport. One can board a flight from Pokhra to Jomsom if they are going to the Muktinath Yaatra. One can even go for an adventurous game Paragliding and it works out cheap. One can even ask the hotel people to book a vehicle for local sight seeing. The Devil's Falls and Barahi Lake Temple are among the famous ones. One can even visit the Manakamana Temple which is about 4 hour road journey one way. The manager of the restaurant of the hotel will provides Jain food to his guests on demand only. I am writing this out of frustration after dealing with constant noise from Hotel The Kantipur. It’s now 2 PM, and for the last hour, they have been using a loud blender outside in their backyard, disturbing everyone around, including us and other nearby hotels. This noise started at 1 PM and has been going on non-stop.

This is not the first time we’ve had this problem. We’ve called their management team more than five or six times tonight, asking them to stop, but they don’t seem to care. It’s really disappointing that they continue to be so inconsiderate.

We are tired of this repeated disruption. We’ve tried to handle it calmly, but enough is enough. This noise is ruining the peaceful environment for those who are trying to sleep, and it’s clear that the management at Hotel The Kantipur doesn’t respect their neighbors.

I strongly urge them to take this seriously and stop disturbing everyone around them. It’s not fair, and it needs to be fixed...

Another scam hotel in Pokhara with fancy photos and worst customer service. We checked in late, ac was not working. Two newly hired room boys tried their best. There was literally nobody in the hotel above their position to address the issue. They could offer us another room. They did not feel sorry. Nobody cared. We left the hotel half past 12 in the cold night of December just before new year (after so much struggle and midnight phone calls to book another hotel.) We dragged our luggage in the cold alley of the hotel disturbing other guests. Still nobody cared about us. What a pity. For god sake do not stay in this hotel.
