LakeCity Hotel / Amrit Guest House — Hotel in Pokhara

I got off at pokhara bus park and caught a taxi to get to Amrit guest house. The driver sropped right in front of Standard Charterd Bank. He told me that its Amrit guest house but it was a different name "Lake city hotel pvt. ltd." I was confused if it was Amrit guest house but later I was assured by the manager that it was amrit guest house but under new management.||||Although I was confused at first, the staffs were very helpful and co operative. I stayed only five days in this hotel but it was a wonder full stay..friendly staff and good service, nice view of Lake from roof top restaurant along with the full information about Trekking and Travels from Mr. Madhav "Manager at Lake city Hotel".||||Best Regards||Alex...

We choose to stay in this hotel for its cheap price and location. The room is just basic and the shower was not hot at all. Wifi was very poor it gets cuts off all the time. The hotel owner also was very dishonest with the price we were told the first time. On new years Eve they sold the bed in our room to another traveler and insist to charge us for the same price. In the end they also charge us for the 10% service charge. Which will only happen in 5 star hotel. I would not recommend to stay...

Stayed here twice for a combined stay of one week. The staff in the reception where very helpful and did their best to give me a great stay in Pokhara with a friendly and personal touch. Located in the middle of Lakeside, the hotel offers very affordable prices and a relaxed atmosphere with its central courtyard garden and rooftop terrace overlooking the lake.
