Writing to you straight from a restaurant — Vietnamese folks are chatting loudly, disco music is playing, the air smells like food…

Today was my last day on the trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). And something tells me — I’m going back home a different person.

If you ever go to the mountains — turn off the internet. Let your phone be just a camera. All the truly important things happen off-screen: conversations, glances, mountain paths, and ginger-lemon tea after a long climb.

Every lodge here feels like a tavern from an RPG — where you can pick up a quest or meet someone who’ll become a part of your journey.

On the first day, I met two guys — 18 and 19 years old, one from Canada, the other from Australia. What are they doing in Nepal? How did they meet? I don’t know — but it’s fascinating.

Later, I ran into a French couple. We met by chance. Then again. And again. And each time — it felt like seeing old friends after years apart.

Then there was Sam, the American. Calm and kind. He taught me how to play cards. And, between the lines, how to be a little kinder to people.

There were also elderly Taiwanese travelers — hiking without their families because they enjoy this kind of rest, and that’s totally okay.

A Malaysian group of 58 people! Different ages, beliefs, languages. Some wore hijabs, some wore designer jackets. And all of them — on the same wavelength. No judgment, no expectations.

And of course — Krishna, my dear guide. I kept telling everyone that I’m traveling with God (well, because that’s his name). Without him, this journey wouldn’t have been the same.

So why should you travel with Krishna? • He always books and arranges the best room with a view • Everyone knows him • He can solve any problem • You always know where he is, and it’s easy to find him • He’s incredibly attentive to the little things

So write to him and enjoy your divine journey. Just trust him :)

Now, if we’re talking places — here’s my top: ABC — fantastically beautiful, like another planet Chuile — cozy atmosphere and the best food on the trail Ghorepani — a place where Wes Anderson could shoot a movie

My rekommendasien is off the charts! Not a single moment of disappointment.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, SISNE ROVER

P.S. From ABC to Jhinu: 10 hours and 13 minutes (with breaks) In that time, you’ll: — walk 26 km — descend 3250 meters (sorry, knees) — climb 863 meters — burn roughly 2500 calories (if you’re a man, 182 cm...

I first contacted Mr Dambar through email and his response was super fast. After a short communication, I decided to join his company, Sisne Rover Trekking (P) Ltd for our trek from Pokhara to Poon Hill.

We were pleasantly surprised when we were met by Mr Dambar personally at the arrival point. All arrangements were done smoothly in quick time. We were so impressed that we decided to take up paragliding with the same company, a sport we enjoyed thoroughly.

My wife, Jeccy, and I had a wonderful trekking experience from a dedicated team. The guide was very professional and knowledgeable and we had the privilege of good sightings, which we would not have noticed on our own. The accommodation, food and service were superb and there was never a time when we had to worry about anything.

We will strongly recommend Sisne Rover Trekking (P) Ltd for a fantastic trekking experience. Our very sincere personal thanks go to Mr Dambar and his team for an excellent service that extends beyond our...

We had an absolutely amazing honeymoon, thanks to the wonderful package provided by the team! Our trip covered some of the most beautiful places like Pokhara, Nagarkot, and Kathmandu. We were in awe of the stunning sunrise and breathtaking mountain views. Pokhara was especially memorable with visits to Phewa Lake, Tal Barahi Temple, Bindhyabasini Temple, and the Sarangkot sunrise viewpoint. We also had a blast paragliding and going on an off-road adventure!

The hotel accommodations were perfect, with clean rooms, the best room plans, and convenient access to all the key spots. The hospitality was exceptional, and we enjoyed complimentary breakfast and WiFi throughout our stay. The food was fantastic, and we loved exploring the local shopping areas.

A huge thanks to Mr. Dambar Bahadur and his team for their flawless coordination and planning—it made our entire trip a truly fun-filled and unforgettable experience. We can't recommend this enough for couples looking for a...

We were a group of 5 and did the ABC trek. 8 days. We planned well in advance but due to Nepal airlines issue and weather many changes. Dambar handled these requests with ease. He is very seasoned and mature in his approach. He had a great team. Milan was our guide. Both on trek and at Tea house his attention to details from day 1 to day 8 did not waver. He was very aware and we had a snow storm to deal with, but he was focused. We had a team of 5 assistants and they were very helpful too. Always cheerful and did all the heavy lifting. We became a family at the end. What memories. What a one of a kind trip that money can’t buy. Only grit, sweat and determination. It is a lonely place. You need the best of guides and tour company behind you. For us. It will be Sisne forever. Very gentle. Genuine. And truly caring. Highly recommended. For your peace and well being.
