The hotel is located next to the main street in the Lakeside area of Pokhara and is a courtyard building. It is separated from Phewa Lake by a park. Therefore, even if you choose a lake-view room, you can still hear the noisy sounds from the street. The hotel facilities are outdated, the lighting is dim, and the hot water supply is slow. The bed sheets and blankets are very old and stained, and they will not offer to replace them with cleaner ones unless you ask. There is no hairdryer in the room. When you contact the front desk, they first claim it is in another room and that you need to find it yourself. Later, after a long wait, the front desk finally brings one up. The room in winter is 2,000 rupees, which does not include breakfast. Do not let the owner arrange a taxi for you, as it will be very expensive. If you want to maintain a good impression of Pokhara, do not stay...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. On the morning of May 23, 2025, around 10 AM, I was returning from Mustang and booked a room via phone call, agreeing on a price of Rs. 2,500. However, upon my arrival, the hotel staff raised the rate to Rs. 3,500, claiming that other foreign guests were willing to pay more for the same room (Room No. 309 i guess).
Despite having already confirmed the rate, they insisted on the higher price simply because other guests were ready to pay more. I have stayed at this hotel several times before, but this experience made me feel extremely disrespected and unvalued. I walked out of the hotel in frustration, and this incident has made me reconsider visiting Pokhara altogether.
I wanted to write this review on the same day, but due to a busy schedule, I am...
Read moreI had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Peace Plaza! 🌿 The staff are absolutely lovely and amazing, always so kind and ready to help with anything. The location by the lake is just perfect. I wasn’t sure at first if I wanted to stay somewhere closer to nature, but this place truly has the peaceful feeling of nature while still being right by the lakeside.
The food is fantastic . I enjoyed everything on the menu, every meal felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and well-kept, with hot water showers and baths that make it extra relaxing after a day of exploring.
Overall, the whole vibe of this hotel feels serene and welcoming. It’s the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and great service. Highly recommend to anyone...
