We had an incredible stay at Casa Sapantiana Bed & Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, Estefany welcomed us with professionalism, warmth, and constant attention to detail. She truly went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect during our visit — something we really appreciated. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The blankets were cozy, the hot water worked perfectly, and the views from our room were absolutely stunning. And the breakfast? Easily the best we had during our entire trip to Peru. Delicious, generous, and served with care — we really felt at home here. On top of everything, the location is excellent — close to the city center and within walking distance of popular spots like the Calle de los Siete Borreguitos. Honestly, we have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Highly recommended!

The photos are of the staircase and the hill you have to climb up to get there from Plaza de Armas, the city center. It is located right next to the historical Sacsayhuaman archeological site. Some rooms have interior windows (hallway) others have an outside view. The hotel is clean enough and the desk clerks are very friendly. It's a good deal if you don't mind a 15 minute hike up to the hotel from Plaza De Armas. A taxi will cost you 15 soles ($4.25 USD)

Good hotel 10 minutes walk from town centre. Really big comfortable rooms, big private bathroom, hot shower, smart tv and nice view from our room.q Common areas where to relax and have a free coffee, tea or coca leaves. Service was good and staff really friendly. They allowed us to leave our backpack for 5 days while we were doing machu picchu with no extra cost. Breakfast is very basic and simple. Good wifi Great value for money, highly recommended.

We don‘t know why this place is top rated. We had a different experience there. We asked via WhatsApp whether we could check in earlier, as we arrived early by bus. This was possible. However, nobody was there at the reception and nobody was informed. Therefore the staff cleaning the rooms had to call the owner to figure out more, so we didn‘t fell welcomed at all. The room is quite nice, however the bathroom as a very strong smell and once you shower is wet for the whole stay as there is no window. The breakfast experience was weird, we didn‘t feel welcome and the food was not that good. At the check-out, nobody was there again, eventhough we checked out at during check-out-time of the hotel… all in all we had strange experiences and feelings and didn‘t feel welcomed at all. Would not recommend. Of course, other guests might have better experiences, and it‘s hard to judge the hotel based on one single tourist experience. I‘m sure you‘ll find better...

So, to start of, hot water wasnt working for half our stay, one morning, there was no water. We only managed breakfast twice, they say it starts at 7am, we got there exactly at the time, the food wasnt ready until about 7:15. We were in a rush to cathc our flight, so at the time it mattered. The rooms are cold, so if you book, bring loads of layers. They do provide a heater but it definitelly wasnt enough for our room. Especially with only icy water working. I dont recommend staying there, it was one of the most disappointing stays I have had. We needed to check out on the morning of our flight, nobody was at the reception, even after ringing the bell several times...
