Not vegetarian friendly, if you like food you can taste. Although the dishes were authentic Peruvian and the setting was beautiful, the mediocre food, the lack of (and quality of the existing) vegetarian options combined with the poor service made for not-so-pleasant experience. The menu consists a list of the dishes they serve without listing descriptions or ingredients, which is fine if you know your stuff, but I didn't. I asked the waiter what was vegetarian and ordered the two only vegetarian things on the menu besides salad, mote con queso and white rice. The meal I recieved consisted of two dry baked potatoes, a bowl of corn and lima beans, a pile of white rice, and a block of cheese. It didn't taste bad per se, but the problem was that it didn't taste like anything at all. There was no seasoning whatsoever. All I had on the table at my disposal was salt, pepper, and some oil. Not olive oil, just oil. And while that helped a little, salt and pepper can only go so far. The cheese did not melt into the potatoes, and I had no butter to put into them, or anything else that would soften them up and add some flavor. I tried to eat them but I simply could not eat it. In addition, the service was slow and inattentive. The food took a pretty long time, and even after we'd been there for an hour and a half, we had to get the waiter's attention for the check, remind them we asked them to give us the check a second time, and remind them to take it. In general, if you're vegetarian or vegan, it will not be a nice place for you, and if you're not vegetarian, I still can't guarantee that it will be. My dad ordered cuy and said it was okay, but he also recoeved a dry-as-heck potato. On the upside the food was...

Read moreLove this restaurant! Best lamb soup ever, so yummy I'm salivating just thinking about it🤤!!! The cooking here is simple, hearty, like someone's home cooking and really delicious. The portion sizes are enormous! You can't tell from the photos but one plate of food is more than enough for 2 people. Didn't see other tourists eating here when I had lunch, but I think everyone needs to give restaurants like this a try!...
