I wanted to leave this review while the experience is still fresh in my mind. I searched for brunch spots nearby and this restaurant came up with great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It’s a small but cozy place, and I was seated immediately. However, it took a little while for me to be served. I didn’t receive the welcome drink until the end of my dining experience.
I ordered water and the hot chicken sandwich. About 10 minutes later, I was told they couldn’t make the sandwich because it wasn’t available. The server handed me the menu again and asked me to select something else. I was a bit annoyed because if it’s on the menu, it should be available. Then, about five minutes later, the same server returned to tell me that I could order the sandwich after all.
When the hot chicken sandwich finally arrived, it was fantastic—completely worth the confusion. I was still hungry, so I decided to order the pancakes. Unfortunately, they had a strange aftertaste, even though they were topped with fresh fruit. The pancakes came pre-dressed with syrup, which wasn’t my preference, and I didn’t finish them.
The main issue that left a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively) was one of the staff members. The woman (pictured below in the sparkling black pants) who worked there was petting stray dogs and holding them. Not once did I see her wash her hands before returning to serve people or walk behind the bar and kitchen. While the dogs didn’t go into the kitchen or bar area, the fact that she was handling them and then bringing items to customers without washing her hands was unsettling. It left me feeling uneasy about the hygiene standards.
Overall, the hot chicken sandwich was the highlight, but the pancakes were a miss, and the hygiene concerns were hard to overlook. If you visit, enjoy the food but beware of the potential “extras” you might not want in your meal. A little attention to cleanliness would go a...

The atmosphere? Ethereal.
Every stone, every cushion, and even the flickering shadows from the sunlight feels intentional, as if they were placed there to honor the space.
It’s the kind of vibe that makes you want to slow down and take in every moment.
The latte art?
A masterpiece in its own right—intricate, precise, and hands-down the best I’ve seen in all of Peru.
It’s not just coffee; it’s a quiet ceremony in a cup.
Service here is the kind that makes you feel seen without being crowded—friendly, professional, and perfectly in tune with the space’s energy.
Even the music is curated to slip into the background, subtly lifting the ambiance without intruding on the moment.
And the food? Let’s just say it’s a testament to the art of simplicity done right.
Fresh, local ingredients transformed with precision into dishes that don’t just taste good—they tell a story.
Perfectly cooked, thoughtfully plated, and with flavors so vibrant they linger long after you’ve finished the last bite.
This isn’t just one of the best meals you’ll find in Cusco; it’s the kind that redefines your idea of what a...
Read moreHonestly, was really bummed. Sat down and there were only two other tables. I ordered a beer and my wife was still deciding. The server appeared to be too busy with the other tables to come back, so I called him over, my wife ordered a drink, well it was never made. After waiting 20 minutes and no one even making the drink. I asked for my check. They did not even bring that over, I was getting really hungry so I got up and went to the bar for my check. They apologized for not making my wife’s drink, so they knew they dropped the ball. Also they charged me 15peso for a water which I couldn’t take. I personally would have comped the tab at my restaurant. My wife and I were very excited to check this place out, but honestly the menu was not that good looking on paper. The dish we came for (the short rib) was not available. Unfortunately, we never got a chance to order. I work in the industry and I would never allow a table to sit unattended for over 20 minutes. Do they not want to make money as a server or turn the tables to sell more food? With all the options in Cusco there is a lot of better service and restaurants to choose from. Hope this helps you find some food, not worth the walk up the hill to be...
