I stayed here for two nights and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. It is a small guest house with only a few rooms. The building is historical with character, which is fun. The location is perfect for back packers (as long as you don't mind walking up hill at the end of the day). It's in a beautiful historical, hippie, tourist area. Lots of vegan restaurants around. The room was clean. I had booked a single room for myself, but they had a larger double room available when I arrived, so they gave that to me for the same price. It does get cold in Cusco at night and many places don't have heat. I told the staff that I was too cold and the next day they bought a portable heater for my room. Really nice of them! This is a great place to stay for people on a budget, looking for a simple and reliable place to stay. Note that Cusco city seems to turn off the public water supply at 10 pm each night. Not sure why. Just make sure you shower before 10 pm. This has nothing to do with the hostel - it is controlled by the city. Some places have water reservoirs to provide continuous water supply...
