When I made my reservation the manager didn't tell me I was at Friends House 2... I arrived at Friends 1 at 4am and inconvenienced the staff who was having a nice sleep.||||At Friends 2 you can expect a very long, steep climb to some rooms (I can do it, I've got VERY strong legs, but it's a bit silly) and lots more stairs to use a cramped, dirty bathroom that gets used by many guests and only gets cleaned once a day. What's worse, the staff uses the same washroom and leaves their clothes and stuff in it, effectively blocking you out while they socialize endlessly after their shower. Obtuse and unprofessional.||||No soap, no towel in the bathroom. The same hair and gunk on the floor for three days! Foul.||||Breakfast was fairly good. More than bread, you get eggs. Good luck navigating your way around the retardedly oversized table. Obtuse and silly.||||Instead of using the secure storage room, I put my bags in an unlocked room where people actually live. No security there... to be honest, the manager is a bit of a bumbling goof, and he screwed up several times in just a few days.||||Fairly good location, but there are other places to stay that are closer to groceries, entertainment, the Metropolitano bus rapid transit... there are better places to stay that will charge you the same money.||||Friends 2 was a bit annoying. Poor wifi in many areas, and the computer...
Read moreWe stayed for 3 nights here. The room and bed were clean. We were able to check in straight after our flight when we arrived early which was 9am which was great. You need to speak Spanish to communicate with the staff but we got by despite only speaking English. Good basic breakfast included; bread, butter, coffee/tea, jam and eggs. You can ask to borrow their metropolitan card which was useful as there's no point buying your own is your only there for a couple of days (side note the metropolitan is a fast bus that you need a yellow card for and then it's really easy to put money on the card at the bus stops and we found this safe and easy to use as transport as long as you know where you are going). At first we were concerned as there was a small window without any glass in leaving it open above the door but it wasn't an issue in the end as the hostel was quiet and the temperature of the rooms were fine and there aren't any insects around. Overall a pleasant stay and reasonable...

It was great I sang and dances reggae with the girls while doing the dished. ||||Location: Great location close to everything including the beach! There is a pizza hut right around the corner!||||Hospitality: I LOVE THE STAFF. So kind and there if we need anything. Nancy is great and had a pleasure seeing her twice when I went! Had fun playing with the house keepers little son!||||Grounds: Very clean, they can clean the rooms every day but we asked for them not too since everything was clean and we were very satisfied! ||||I am very picky when it comes to hotels, it was my first time not in a well known hotel chain and it is worth going there.||||Once again thank you Nancy for the great hospitality and I hope to come back to Perou soon and...
