I recently travelled to El Nido few days ago and I used a travel agency called E-Philippines to book my itinerary w/c the travel agency was able to get me a good package deal from my accommodation ,tour and van transfer to and from.Having said all that everything went well from the time of arrival.Then the downside came along the next day .According to the voucher that was given to me ,we will be picked up by the tour agency in our hotel by 9 am ,so me as a very prompt and timely mannered person ,we were already up by six ,had breakfast by 7 and we were ready by 8 and we were just waiting for the time and for us to be pick up for the tour.Lo and behold it’s been 9:30 and some of the boats already left for the island hopping but we were still waiting and no calls from the agency ,when we asked the boat tours people we were told we are not on their list so I seemed help from the hotel management to help us find the agency responsible to pick us up ,by 9:55 am the manager from the hotel was able to find the agency and we were told that no one knew about us then finally they said they will pick us up,this time I was so furious that the arrangement was not properly coordinated by the travel agency and the tour owner it’s called Johanna’s tour started blaming the tour guide instead of taking responsibility of the disaster.She kept on apologizing to me and even waived the 200 pesos environmentally fee from w/c I couldn’t careless.The tour was delayed and 12 other people got stuck in the boat for 1 whole hour because of the agency’s irresponsibility to coordinate their tours with travel agency,they have no process to do their things it’s come what may,I will not recommend this tour agency in any given time to all the travelers and to be fair the boat crew was the one’s who did a very excellent service recovery.They were so scared that I’m going to report them and they are scared to lose their job but I assured them it was not their fault but their agency or the person who is responsible coordinating the tour.Yet the boat crew did a very excellent job doing what they do and went beyond my expectations in regards of service recovery,they did a fantastic job of giving their customer a 💯 satisfaction and that credit only goes to those boat crew from...
Read moreThe Inn is in a great location! right in front of the beach (where most, if not all tours depart for island hopping). The room itself is not bad for just 1 night, I couldn't imagine staying any more than that since it is very small, there is regular power outages (which i hear is normal in El Nido) and the breakfast was not overly impressive. Rooms have aircon but because of the power outages, it's hard to stay cool. Check out the surroundings, there are plenty of beach bars/restaurants ||||The caretaker was extremely helpful with choosing tours! Do a combination of tours as it's only an extra 400p to do an extra 5 islands! I did Tour A and C. Jhanna's Inn boats are very big and provide a very yummy lunch!! The tour guides were my highlight of this whole El Nido trip, they were extremely funny and took amazing photos for us and did their jobs very well!! Read moreWe were passed on to Jhannas Inn tour and travel by Ellen tours for our tour A trip. It was a terrible experience from start to finish! They were supposed to pick us up, they emailed and we confirmed. We sat waiting well before pick up time, they never came and lied to us about coming to pick up. We were supposed to go to big lagoon, we paid the entrance fee for big lagoon and were not taken there. The boat left around 10.30 am when we were told not to be late as the boat will leave at 9am no matter what. 20 minutes after the boat left the dock the 'guide' told us our itinerary. Big laggon was not mentioned. At least 20 people put their hand up saying we booked and paid for the big lagoon. They basically took our money for the big lagoon knowing we wouldn't be going and lied to us. We asked for our money back but then we were told the small lagoon now costs money to enter and we bought the tickets for that. Totally shocking that a business lies and misleads you like...
