OYO 874 Villa Tomasa Boracay — Hotel in Malay

This hotel is NEVER recommended for me.

Rooms are awfully low ceiling (there are exposed concrete beam) if you slept in top of a bunk bed. It can be dangerous to sleep or lie down. Rooms are also forcefully fitted beyond its actual capacity. A room that is for 4 persons becomes 8 persons room which is awful. Rooms are smelly(kulob) and not presentable. There are wifi in hallways only, not inside the actual rooms.

Due to these main reason, we end up staying only for 1 night and leave the next day (we initially book for 3 nights). They accomdated our refund - were able to refund almost half of what we paid.

However, i dont see that they even asked us to why we are cancelling our accomdation, the manager just let us go like this is a normal occurence to them.

Location wise, its nearer establishment ( at the back of budget mart) - but its actual entrance is inside of an alley that it is harldy unnotceable at first (not presentable and kind of dark).

Only good thing here is if your budget is extremely short that this is the only option you ever have. I highly suggest to look for...

Good for a small time budget if youre looking for a cheap place to stay. No internet inside the room you have to get out to get connected. Wewere using our data but still gets a very poor connection. The room was too crowded for 4 pax. Cant hardly move. The bed creaks everytime the upper bunker moves. They didnt supply towels. No toilet paper. Location wise it was good just a walking distance from the beach and near DMall. Staff were ok. For those looking for a budget friendly dormitel you can try this but don't...

Dalawa tong Villa Tomasa. Itong isa dito sa likod ng Balabag Lake yung isa naman sa likod ng Budget Mart near Kabayan Spa which was our place for 5 nights. Grabe WALANG SIGNAL! Hindi pa lagyan ng sariling router bawat kwarto para may wifi man lang. need pa lumabas para masagap yun wifi nila! Lahat may bayad ultimo hot water 😅😂 nakaka stress lang kaya most of the time lumalabas nalang kami. Sayang lang stay namin dyan as in tulugan lang talaga. Well, lesson learned. Next time wag mag tipid hahaha! Bye! Pero yung mga tropa ko dyan na staff goods naman. Yung place talaga. Opps meron pa pala si ateng English speaking pag nagrereklamo...
