The main highlight of Aqua Boracay is definitely the stunning pool—it's spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained. Whether day or night, it's the centerpiece of the resort and a perfect spot to lounge, swim, and unwind. It’s the first thing that will catch your eye and easily becomes your favorite place to hang out during your stay.||Aside from the pool, the resort is also beachfront, giving you the best of both worlds. The beach area is clean and quiet—perfect for relaxing, especially during the habagat season. It’s a refreshing contrast to the crowded and noisy stations of White Beach. Here, you can truly enjoy peace and calm. I also hope they add more sunbeds by the beach so guests can stay longer and unwind by the shore.||It would also be helpful if there was a designated staff member stationed near the pool and beach area throughout the day to manage towels and beach mats—especially since there are no sunbeds yet. That kind of service would be a big help to guests who want to stay longer by the water.||The balconies are very spacious, and having a lounge area where you can sit and enjoy the view is a big plus.||Housekeeping is very attentive and precise—our room was always clean and well-kept throughout the stay.||The kitchen and dining area during breakfast is another highlight. It’s very spacious, has plenty of seating, and is beautifully designed with an elegant aesthetic. Dining here felt calm and refreshing, surrounded by greenery and open air.||As for the room, it’s super spacious and even gives off more luxurious vibes than some city hotels like Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. However, there are a few areas for improvement. There’s no proper area for luggage, and the closet has no shelves to organize clothes—whether new or used. Even in the bathroom, there’s a lack of shelving to place essentials. The hair dryer, for example, had no designated spot—it was just left on the vanity counter, exposed to possible splashes, which could pose a risk. There was also no iron and ironing board provided. The TV isn’t capable of playing Netflix or YouTube, which is something many guests now look for in a modern luxury resort. That said, the espresso machine was a nice surprise—definitely a plus that added to the feeling of staying somewhere premium.||Room amenities were sufficient, and complimentary bottled water was replenished daily upon request.||The pool bar, however, only serves drinks. It would be nice if they offered light snacks like fries or chips to pair with beer or cocktails—just something simple to enjoy while lounging.||Now for the service—5 stars across the board. From the moment we were picked up at the port, Mang Rey and Mang Lito from the transfer team were warm, accommodating, and made us feel very welcome.||At the front desk, I initially felt a bit off with Ms. Drei’s assistance—maybe because we were tired, hungry, and coming from a delayed flight. By the time we finished the reservation process, it was already close to 3 PM, but we were told the room was still not ready. We waited for several minutes, but since we were already exhausted and starving, we decided to step out and find food instead of waiting for the check-in time. That experience left me a little disappointed at first.||However, Ms. Drei later turned things around. She personally called me to explain that the room view I requested was actually under a different rate, which I completely understood. But the way she followed up was commendable—and even more so when she called again the next day to inform me they were able to accommodate my request. I was honestly delighted and excited—it meant a lot. From then on, every time we returned to the resort, she always smiled and greeted us warmly. Her sincerity and personal effort really elevated our overall experience.||The biggest thanks goes to Ms. Christine from the reservations office. She is the reason I got to experience Aqua Boracay in the first place. Despite being based in Manila, she was very responsive, informative, and accommodating from day one. Her assistance made everything smooth and easy, and that played a big role in choosing Aqua over other resorts like Henann. Thank you so much, Ms. Christine and Ms. Drei, for making our stay remarkable.||A great example of excellent service would be the guards stationed at the back gate. They were always alert, friendly, and ready to assist every time we passed from the beach to the resort. They made us feel secure and well-looked after. I do hope the resort can build a small shelter or shaded guard station near that gate—it would really help protect them from rain and heat, especially since they currently have no proper cover.||Now, as someone with a creative eye and background in interior design, I want to give special mention to the overall aesthetic and composition of the resort itself. Aqua Boracay is not just beautiful—it’s intentionally and artfully designed. The entire property feels cohesive, organized, and visually balanced. The color palette is consistent, refined, and calming—from the creamy white flooring that mimics the soft sands of Boracay to the deep aquas of the pool that mirror the island’s ocean hues.||The greenery surrounding the property is lush and strategically placed, bringing softness and life to the modern architectural elements. I also appreciate the attention to detail—small accessories, accent pieces, and even the positioning of furniture and decor have clearly been thoughtfully planned. Nothing feels random.||The lighting is superb—warm-toned and ambient, creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere both day and night. It enhances every surface and texture without being overpowering. This kind of lighting design elevates the entire experience.||For any guest who has an appreciation for design and visual storytelling, Aqua Boracay is more than just a resort—it’s an inspiring space where tropical modernism and elegance meet. It’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a space that doesn’t just house guests—but impresses and...

Contemporary, clean, and very nice 5-star hotel in Boracay. Located in the eastern part of the island, it’s about less than a 5 minute ride from the hotel pick up/drop off point of D’mall (station 2). It has a huge pool at the center of the property and a smaller pool that’s near their private and relaxing beach (sand is not as fine compared to the western part of the island). The landscaping of the property is very well maintained. The ambiance and design of their restaurants (Qtchen for the included buffet breakfast and Seafood for dinner) are also contemporary and tastefully done.

The hotel is composed of several buildings and they are named after the different bodies of water. We stayed at the Indian (ocean) building and we booked in their premier one bedroom suite which was very roomy and nice. It had its own kitchen, dining, and spacious living room, the bedroom had a queen size bed. The bathroom is also big with a bath tub. Our room also had a wrap around balcony overlooking the main pool and and garden. Very nice.

We used the main pool during the day and night and both times the water was warm but the pool isn’t heated. The huge pool was divided into different depths/areas wherein the depth ranged from 1-4 feet. The three feet area had the jacuzzi type function. Very relaxing.

The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of dishes and the majority changes everyday. They had a noodle and egg station. Most of the local and international dishes would taste as expected. Was a bit disappointed with the bacon because it was tough instead of crispy. I enjoyed the daily congee and the noodle soup station.

Dinner at Seafood was a nice experience. We had a drink voucher with our stay. The ambiance is nice, good for a date night. Servers are very knowledgeable and I appreciate them explaining the components of each dish. They were also very attentive. Food is good and I especially liked the lechon rice which was delicious and generous. The experience was not cheap.

Room service was excellent. Food was also generous especially the noodle dish and all were very tasty. Tip: you’re entitled to two mineral water bottles per person each day, if you have room service, ask for additional pitcher of iced water if needed.

Great staff, good facilities. We had an overall wonderful stay at Aqua Boracay, except the shower. In our room, B1-205, it was so difficult to get the right mixture of hot and cold water. No matter how big or small the adjustments one makes, the water would either be cold or too hot. I called the attention of the front desk about this during my checkout and I hope they resolve this.

Another suggestion for management, pls have better quality bedroom slippers because what you provided were so thin and cheap. Lower starred hotels have much better bedroom slippers. And have your brand...

We chose to stay at AquaBoracay hotel for "our vacation within our vacation"  From getting off the plane, land, sea, and back to land again, the ease of travel getting to Aqua Boracay hotel was effortless and efficient, *do keep in mind that there is a transportation fee getting to and from the airport to the hotel. Otherwise, we received impeccable experience all around with Aqua Boracay Hotel. 🚌🚤🚌🏨

The staff: front desk, servers, attendants, security guards, and everyone was a true definition of hospitality as I know Filipinos strive to be. If we had any questions or needed anything we were given smiles with the service provided - no complaints whatsoever.

As for the hotel suite we stayed - amazing as well. Per usual, our rooms were cleaned and beds were made everyday. Their beds are also amazing, they were a little firm and we melted like butter and always got a good night's rest. There was a kitchenette in our room, but it only had the basics,  small espresso maker, tea bags, and plenty of complimentary water bottles. It didn't have a microwave or any other small appliance, which is most likely provided upon request, but they did have a 2 door refrigerator. Each room had an AC unit that you're able to adjust for your liking and of course a TV. The upper and lower swimming pools were nice too, there was always a maintenance guy cleaning the pool every morning.

The restaurants, we did utilize. I was excited to see some favorite Filipino breakfast dishes being served (tocino, longanissa, and banggus) you're definitely in the Philippines when these foods are included in the breakfast buffet 😊 we also ate at the seafood restaurant only once, the first night we got in and their food was pretty good. We definitely utilized the bar and in-room service as we ordered snack items also from the bar.

And the Mist Spa, deserves recognition also, the front desk lady was suer nice in explaining what to expect. We were given a delicious dose of the healthy shot packed with fruit and veggies. The two lovely ladies who gave us the massages were also sweet and provided professional services.

Overall, our stay was incredibly amazing. 5 stars all the way for everything Aqua Boracay has to offer. Kudos to Mr. Rey, Mr. Mark, Ms. Princess, Ms. Drei, the front and back Security gaurds and all the bar crew for their attentiveness from start to finish of our stay. My kids, husband, and I were sad to leave, wished we stayed longer, but super happy and stress free during our stay at this lovely hotel. We definitely have memories to last a lifetime. 🤞 Hopefully we get the chance to come back to this beautiful island of Boracay. 🌅 Maraming-maraming Salamat po sa inyong lahat...

A disappointing stay at the aqua hotel Boracay, as a so called 5 star hotel. Check in was good however they changed our room last minute from the junior suite to the premier room, which meant we missed out on the bath tub. At check in they asked if we wanted our room to be made up during our stay and what time . I said yes, 12 pm. However they did not make the room up during our stay. When I asked on our second to last day, they did eventually make up the room, you shouldn’t have to ask for this. As I walked into the room it did smell. I had read this in previous reviews, claiming it was the curtains. It’s not the curtains, it’s a mouldy heat pump/aircon unit in my opinion. They need to sort that out, Smells horrible The rooms have no irons, that’s poor. Do I have to call reception from my premium room to get one? That’s not 5 stars quality. The rooms also have no minibar or food. They have two small complementary waters and two tea bags, two coffee capsules. Questionable for a 5 star hotel, also after they take a 6000 peso deposit on check in. They have two sizeable pool areas. The bigger one closer to the entrance is falling apart and I almost slipped on a tile that came off completely as I stepped on it. I showed the staff. They just smiled and laughed a little. Be very careful with the areas of missing tiles, the edges are sharp and could cause injury, especially with children. See pictures below. image0.jpegimage1.jpeg The second pool has no towels available both days I went for a swim there . Shouldn’t they just have towels lying around for guests at a 5 star resort One of the days I went to go open the fridge and a get a beer that I had purchased to drink. One of the side racks fell out completely since the fridge is falling apart. The beer smashed on the ground and glass went everywhere. I rung reception for help and they said they would send someone. No one came. I ended up going down the corridor and grabbing the cleaners gear and doing it myself. The cleaner saw me do this and said he was busy currently. I rung back reception later and they had no idea and acted like they never got a call in the first place. I would not normally write reviews, however after paying a considerable about of money for this hotel, I feel disappointed . Not close to 5 stars quality. Comparing this to the 100s of other 5 star places I stay for work and leisure, this would be down the bottom of the list.
