Spabucks — Local services in Malay

After a long day exploring Boracay, a visit to Spabucks (also known as SpaWars) was just what I needed to relax and rejuvenate. The experience starts right at the door, where you’re warmly greeted by a smiling receptionist and offered a choice of complimentary drinks—a nice touch! The reclining chairs that go all the way back to a lying down position add an extra level of comfort to your visit, making it easy to unwind during a wonderful foot massage that truly hit the spot.

The only drawback was the minor flooding issue outside the spa when it rains heavily. It would be great if this could be addressed to make access easier during inclement weather. Otherwise, the service, atmosphere, and quality of treatment were all fantastic, making Spabucks a must-visit for anyone needing a break from their beach day. Highly recommend for a soothing escape!

Updated review in 2025: Foot massages by Romelyn and Zy were amazing. Ambience is still a hit or miss but adding a star because the staff did remind clients to be quiet.

We went during the typhoon and the power was out when we arrived, but the staff was kind, sweet, and hardworking! My husbands feet are so smooth and clean (so are mine, but his is an accomplishment!!) We ordered the foot scrubs and paid 900 per person; similar price to our hotel. We got complimentary ice americanos and got to relax for an hour! I’d definitely go again

But I think it’s now called “Spawars” - a play on Star Wars. Although there isn’t much star wars theme...
