Was in the area and everything else was closed for new year’s, Haldi came to the rescue. I’m not too knowledgeable in all the rich regional culinary traditions throughout India, but I do know that if something tastes good then you enjoy it. My frame of reference is a stretch of territory in NYC that’s basically Little India, and the flavors in Haldi match up with the delicious tastes back there very well. Maybe a little toned down for the Polish palate, but delicious. Service is excellent: attentive, quick, and professional. I chose a seat with a kitchen view and the team clearly worked well together. One thing that is exceedingly rare in Europe, especially Poland, are smiles from staff. No such shortages here. Seriously, folks, you’ve got the muscles to smile, and it’s grey here. A smile lifts everyone’s spirits.

No problems with splitting checks either, based on another dining party in the room. A huge plus because I’m tired hearing the same lazy excuse from restaurants that they can’t split bills. I don’t even have a restaurant background but even I know splitting checks is a basic POS system function. Lazy staff rant over. Haldi is great in this capacity.

Decor is not fancy by any means, but this is good food and the decorations and music fit. Location is a bit off the beaten track, but the meal was among the most enjoyable...

Haldi is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in town! I’ve been ordering from them at least once a month (sometimes more), and the food never disappoints. The portions are very generous — each order easily feeds two people twice, which makes it a great value for the price.

My go-to favorites are the Chicken Korma, Green Peas Pulao, and Garlic Bread. Everything is flavorful, perfectly cooked, and arrives hot and fresh every time. It’s clear that they use quality ingredients and take pride in their food.

I always do takeout, so I can’t speak to the dine-in atmosphere, but the customer service is consistently excellent. Orders are processed quickly and ready when they say — no long waits or confusion.

They’ve also been running some great promotions lately. For example, I recently saw a deal where if you buy 1 beer, you get another free — what a steal!

Visited on a Thursday evening and had such a great experience! The food was amazing — the Lamb Madras was full of flavor and just the right level of spice, the Veg Pakora was perfectly crispy, and the Garlic Naan was soft and tasty. The Lemon Rice went so well with everything too. The restaurant décor is beautiful — really well done with proper Indian-style decorations, colors, and details that make it feel authentic and warm. Big shoutout to our waitress — she was so friendly, always smiling, super helpful, and had an incredible memory! She was working alone but still handled 4–5 tables easily, remembered every order, and was unbelievably quick. Sorry for no pictures... But we were so hungry that didnt took pictures.
