Very Good location, that’s the good. very noisy in day time due to building construction (3 houses away, corner whole building covered, with a crane blocking almost the entire street leading to appt) workers starts around 7:30am, moving materials, I been here two days, very dusty due to construction, wind keeps blowing the dust everywhere, we have to keep windows closed at all time. Very noisy at night due to its centralized location with crowds and surprisingly seagulls. Old building so as expected, furniture is minimal and 3 stars quality. Lastly, both the building to the left and to the right are vacant/dilapidated so that doesn’t help with the dust and bugs.

July 6th - saw your reply Hugo, want to clarify a few things and my goal is to give accurate info for my fellow travelers. Hugo, you are correct, the interior was renovated to 3 star level and there are enough plates, cups, tissue….etc. Towel cleanliness can be better.

With the things out of your control - location, the two vacant/dilapidated adjacent to your buildings, the construction 3 houses away, I have no idea when the construction will end and don’t pretend to know, I can say, I see one side of the building without wall so the construction cannot be finish since there is one side missing walls. Then there is the crane and stone blocks blocking entry...

Very compact apartment but with all that’s needed for a short stay. Comfortable and clean bed. Slept very well, no disturbances. Fantastic location. Would have liked an oven instead of a microwave but that’s the only feature I felt I missed. Also more UK TV channels would be good as I was alone in the evenings. And be prepared for the stairs! I was right at the top and found it quite a climb after long days out...

Very nice, clean apartment with spacious bathroom. Location is amazing right in the center but in a quiet street, so you don't have any noise at night but are on the main street in 2 mins. Hugo, the host, was very communicative and helpful which was a great experience. The welcome port wine was a nice touch. I am a female solo traveler and felt safe here at all times.
