My family and I stayed recently stayed here for 5 nights during our visit to Cluj. The place is close to the city center, park, and the Somes river. The room itself was a decent size for 3 people. The bathroom was also nice, however the shower was not good. The water pressure was not the best, but we made it work. The beds were not comfortable at all. ||In the end, we were there to see Cluj and not to stay in the room.||The wifi worked great and no extra charge. Our room was cleaned everyday, but the last day before we left... not sure why that is, but we were leaving, so in the end it didn't matter that much.||The owners are nice, friendly, and helpful. There is also a kitchen area by the reception, so that may come in handy for some of the visitors. ||Overall, it was an ok stay. Read moreWe wanted a private room for two in Cluj that wasn't too far from the center and this place delivered on all aspects.|It's located 10 minutes on foot away from the center, the room and bathroom were clean (even including a hairdryer free to use) and the presentation was nice, specially for the super cheap price.|The owners were very nice and helpful, gladly answering any questions for directions or interesting places.|Other remarks: parking was rather easy (right in front) and the Wifi worked great too.|The only negative note is that the shower didn't have a door so the water would splash all over the bathroom. It had a drain so I suppose it's kind of intentional, so this is a rather minor negative thing.|Will definitely stay there again if I come...
Read moreWe spent one night in Cluj-Napoca at Piccola Italia Casa Racoviță, which is located in the city center and is a great site to visit the city's attractions. The hotel/pension is operated by a very nice and welcoming couple; when we arrived in the evening, one of them were waiting on the door to assist us in finding a suitable parking spot on the street. Rooms were adequate (for the price), although a little unclean and smelled. We did not utilize the free but sluggish wifi. We skipped their breakfast because there were numerous excellent alternatives in the neighborhood. So, I would say that the Piccola Italia Casa Racoviță was fine in general, although it might be better. I would return...
