A Hidden Gem in Belgrade – Truly Lives Up to Its Name!

I had such a wonderful stay at the Hidden Gem Hostel in Belgrade! Tucked away in a peaceful, green neighborhood, this hostel is the perfect escape from the hustle of the city while still being super accessible to all the major sights. The garden and surrounding greenery give it a calm, almost serene vibe—you’d never guess you’re in the heart of a capital city.

The hostel itself is spotless and thoughtfully designed. The beds are incredibly comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days of exploring. There are plenty of restrooms and showers, so I never had to wait—and they always had reliable hot water, which is such a blessing when you’re traveling!

A very special thank you to Sinan, who is hands-down one of the kindest and most helpful hosts I’ve ever met. His hospitality, local recommendations, and friendly energy made all the difference. He genuinely cares about every guest having a great experience—and it shows.

If you’re visiting Belgrade and want a peaceful, clean, and welcoming place to stay, this little green oasis is everything you’re looking for....

This place is absolutely wonderful and truly a hidden gem in Belgrade. Sinan, the owner, is so friendly, attentive and hardworking. He takes pride in his place and always keeping everything so clean. The neighborhood is safe, building is secure and the location is so close to everything- grocery store is around the corner many restaurants & bars, but just far enough away to be quiet and allow for a good night’s sleep! There are enough bathrooms that we never had to wait, provided is a body wash dispenser that is also possible to use as a shampoo. There is a kitchen we can use, tv room to hang out and two covered outdoor cafe tables. He also provides laundry service for 5 euros, washer & dryer. We reserved the private room- it was large, clean, comfortable with AC. Payment can be made via credit card or cash. We appreciate Sinan hosting us at his place & would return if we’re ever back...

This hostel really lives up to its name. Conveniently located in the heart of Belgrade, it’s in a safe neighborhood and in a secure building. The dormitory is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and there’s always hot water.

It’s definitely more of a relaxed hostel, and I really enjoyed chatting with other travelers in the mornings and the evenings. Best of all, the owner, Sinan, is so warm and hospitable, that he’ll make you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. I’d definitely recommend to anyone...
