Hotel Heritage — Hotel in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

An excellent boutique hotel in a very recently renovated building in the heart of Ljubljana Old Town (inside the pedestrianised area so no parking). The location could not be better with all the Old Town within an easy walk. The rooms were furnished in a modern style to a high standard although some of the rooms had old exposed beams in the ceiling to highlight the history of the building. Breakfast offered a varied buffet of high quality items, slightly limited because of the small size of the hotel (those who expect a full cooked breakfast every day may be disappointed), my only gripe was UHT milk in my coffee but it was by no means unique in that aspect.

It has the limitations of the new breed of small boutique city hotels in that there is no 24 hour reception (closes at 10pm). You also won't be eating in the hotel except for breakfast but that is no problem as there is a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars on your doorstep. One small gripe was there was a step between the bedroom and the bathroom which seems an unnecessary trip hazard for the unfamiliar although I suppose you quickly...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Heritage very much. The room was small yet well designed, had limited storage (we only stayed two nights but had luggage for our two week holiday!) it had a large comfy bed, with great bed linen and easy to manage air con. The bathroom was also small, however for a 2 night stay it was adequate and had fabulous toiletries! The hotel is very centrally located for a short city break and has some great history, which you can read about on the walls throughout this elegantly decorated hotel. Breakfast was great, we are not meat eaters however there was lots of choice to suit everyone and set you up for sightseeing. We had limited interaction with staff members but when we did it was always friendly polite and helpful. Make sure you explore the city, it's beautiful, charming and vibrant. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a short stay...

The staff and service at this hotel can't be beat. The people are very kind to their guests and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Amazing, helpful and professional from the owners, reception, breakfast staff to housekeeping!

Breakfast was among the best I have ever had with a wide range of options. (Lots of home made goodies, baked by the staff and the owner). Yumm!!

The location of the hotel is just perfect!! Located right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to many of the main attractions and a number of bars and restaurants.
