From the moment you step through the entrance, greeted by the auspicious presence of Lord Ganesha, you know you're in for a treat. Indian Spice Kitchen isn't just a restaurant; it's an immersive experience that transports you straight to the heart of India.
During our recent lunch visit, I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant is a haven for those seeking pure vegetarian cuisine, and the flavours were simply divine. Each dish was a testament to the chef's mastery, a vibrant symphony of authentic Indian spices that danced on the palate.
The ambience is nothing short of enchanting. The décor exudes an authentic Indian vibe, creating a warm and inviting space that makes you feel right at home. It's the perfect setting for a relaxed meal with family and friends.
Beyond the exquisite food, the service is impeccable. The staff is exceptionally polite and attentive, ensuring that every need is met with a smile. The restaurant also offers the convenience of both card and cash payments.
Cleanliness is a top priority at Indian Spice Kitchen. The entire establishment, including the restrooms, was spotless.

Read moreWent there for lunch on Saturday. We called ahead and made a reservation which turned out to be unnecessary because we were the only people there. The restaurant is down Barnes place close to the junction with Wijerama road and is pretty easy to find. There is a bit of parking down the side lane where this restaurant is situated.
The food was actually pretty good, fresh and yummy. It was also quite reasonably priced. Don't expect any level of service from this place though! When we walked in one the chefs was eating and some one was doing the bills. There was a very loud grass cutter outside so we couldn't really have a conversation. The staff were friendly but not exactly service minded. It felt like we'd gone to someones house and they reluctantly agreed to give us lunch! The restaurant doesn't have much of an ambience either and the staff put us at one of the worst tables possible, both near the window to hear the grass cutter and near the kitchen to hear the blender. The bottom line is: it's cheap and tasty so don't expect too much of the other things. Go there for the food and...
Read moreI went to Indian spice kitchen on Thursday night to enjoy authentic Indian veg food with my wife on invitation by Mr Harish who is the owners dad a very nice humble gentlemen. Our server was fantastic. The owner with his dad and wife visited to our table a few times with a nor Indian chef checking in to make sure we enjoyed everything. The food was amazing - I got the authentic bangalorian style roasted ghee dosa and Hara Bhara kebab as starters and paneer biriyani with Alu Gobi for main menu. They treated us to a complementary free dessert when we were finished with our meals. Which was awesome ! Highly recommend this place if you want to experience the authentic Indian food with the real south Indian hospitality and atmosphere. Looking forward to visit again to try other items in menu. I recommend going through the pictures in the google review to have an idea about the menus before...
