Named after its location on Ward Place, the Ward7 rooftop restobar is perched on the top floor of the quite new and quite fabulous hotel Jetwing Colombo Seven. This is one of the highest rooftops in Colombo and from the terrace you get a spectacular panoramic view over the city and its surroundings. The Jetwing Colombo Severn rooftop is quite a small place, with seats for about 40 at the inside lounge and the same ammount in the lounge sofas on the terrace. The atmosphere at the rooftop is usually relaxed and sophisticated, and open throughout the day it is a perfect spot for both daytime relaxation or a romantic cocktail in the evening. Make sure to try and time a sunset when visiting this rooftop. And then stay to enjoy the magical city lights as darkness falls over Colombo. From the rooftop bar you can order refreshing cocktails from a medicine-themed cocktail menu – both creative signature and classic ones, along with fresh juices and afternoon tea. For the hungry ones, The Jetwing Colombo Severn rooftop menu also offers a great set of different and tasty bar bites and sharing plates. All in all, one of the best rooftop bars Colombo has to offer, and well worth a visit.

The food was not only good but also reasonably priced, making it a delightful culinary experience. It's worth noting that if you're interested in accessing the pool, a separate pool ticket is required. The atmosphere was fantastic, offering a great view of the Colombo cityscape. The view is definitely the highlight. Evenings with good weather is ideal for a good experience. The cocktails were really good and so was the food. Tried the black burger and a pork dish but the food was not warm which was a bit disappointing but delicious. Staff is quick and efficient and provide a good service. Underground parking available at the hotel premises.
