Bonjour folks,
Sam’s place has awesome fantastic Vietnamese home cooked food!
We were here for dinner (4 of us from the Antler cohort)
The Vietnamese crepe HAS to be ordered and sampled. (Refer to the picture)
The beef is sautéed to perfection. The Prawns are a little over cooked but moist and flavorful nonetheless. The bean sprouts are fresh and crunchy. The carrots are done just right and you get to munch on fresh cilantro (cilantro and not coriander) and mint that makes the food very tantalizing! The best but is that nothing is over seasoned or over cooked. The meat almost melts in your mouth.
You wrap all the ingredients in big lettuce leaves and dip it in the sweet sauce. If you want the dish spices, just ask for it and they will add the red chili that Asian cuisine generally spices itself with 🙂
The crepe is made of flour and rice flour and is a bit greasy, however, you don’t feel ill after having it (as opposed to greasy fried chicken).
Did I mention that Sam’s parents make this food and I assure you that they add a lot of love to the food!
And adam played the Jackson five! Now that’s class!
Come and check this place out!
Hasta...
Read moreQuite disappointing. The menu was only in Swedish, and it took me a while to translate and figure out what food they had. I ordered the chicken wings, pho, and eggplant tofu rice. The chicken wings were good. I even ate the lettuce underneath, and it was tasty. The pho was very ordinary and not fresh or flavorful at all. It was bland and tasted exactly like Chinese Lanzhou beef noodles, with a very strong spring onion flavor. I couldn't finish it halfway through and gave it to my friend. I instinctively kept trying to scoop the soup, but with every sip, I was reminded why it was bad. The eggplant tofu rice was just average. The rice was served in a pot lid that had holes, causing rice grains and oil to leak onto my hands. The taste of the eggplant rice was pretty standard, like something you could easily make yourself. Overall, it was quite disappointing. I wouldn't recommend tourists make a...

The highlight of the meal is the pho, with a rich and flavorful broth packed with fresh vegetables and proteins. Each element is perfectly balanced, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that leaves a lasting impression. Each spoonful invites you to savor the careful preparation behind it.
Another highlight is the spring rolls, which are light, crispy, and packed with fresh ingredients. Quite possibly the best rolls I’ve ever tasted, elevating a simple appetizer into a memorable experience.
The attention to detail in both the food and the dining experience makes this restaurant a must-visit for those seeking comfort food and flavor in Stockholm. Whether for a casual dinner or a special occasion, it promises a meal that delights from...
